Out of frustration, I am having to remove my email me link as the spammers from HE-- have swamped me with their ubiquitous trash.

Sorry for this inconvenience. But you will have to just leave comments on the blog until I can figure out how to foil the dastardly deeds of this evil empire.

I promise I'll try to check back frequently for your comments.

Also note, I am in the process of moving so will not be posting as we are packing! Hope to be settled by the end of July again.

Abstinence Education DOES Work

Defenders of abstinence programs are attacking a new study that says such programs don't work.

A new study from Harvard University is reporting that abstinence pledges do not work because most teens break them within a year.

But Dr. Janice Crouse of the Beverly LaHaye Institute says the report is suspect, based on its makeup and the methods used to gather data. She says the statistics are based on ten-year-old information, and trends have changed greatly since abstinence programs were established.

"All the trends are turning in ways that have all the experts just kind of shaking their heads, because they said that this was impossible, that these trends were so firmly entrenched that there was no way to turn them around," she shares.

"And yet, after abstinence programs have become more widespread, suddenly we're seeing changes in behavioral patterns that people said couldn't be changed."

Crouse calls the report just another typical liberal attack on abstinence programs. [They don't want abstinence programs to work.....they would have to give up their promiscuity and sinful lifestyles. They don't want to hear the word "NO". NO NO NO NO NO NO NO~~Then refuse to have the label rebellious attached....] "Every single time you start looking at the fine print and you find that there's not really a problem there," she says.

"In this particular case, the Harvard study is based on data that's over ten years old. [Yet, if the abstinence researchers tried to use 10 year old data, believe me Harvard, et.al. would be SCREAMING FROM THE LIBERAL MEDIA about the inaccuracy of it.]

Then, the report relies completely on students' responses, and those are notoriously unreliable -- and they even point that out."

Crouse notes that both teen pregnancies and teen abortions are down -- "and evidence indicates these trends are related to increased abstinence among teens," she says.

The Hidden Dangers of "Gender-cide"

The recent visit to the White House by Communist China's president has given pro-lifers a chance to call attention to the tragedies abortion has wrought on that nation.

Communist Hu Jintao's nation has been using forced abortion and sterilization to control its population since 1979, limiting couples to one child per family. New Jersey Republican representative Chris Smith says besides the hundreds of millions of innocent unborn children slaughtered by the Communists, there are other victims of this coercive family planning.

"One of the psychological consequences (of these forced abortions) is that some 500 Chinese women commit suicide every day," he points out. Meanwhile, since Chinese culture elevates maleness, sex-selection has led to what Smith calls "gendercide," where most of the babies aborted are female. [One unique way to completely destroy a race of people....and they are doing it WILLINGLY!! Breeding yourself out of existence....what a novel concept. What a CONSUMATE politician that can "sell" this!]

"Approximately 100 million girls are missing in China," he points out. "One Chinese demographer has admitted that by the year 2020, 40 million Chinese men won't be able to find wives because Beijing's weapon of mass destruction, population control, has destroyed the girls." [I wouldn't want my familial females living in a bordering country....]

Pro-lifers have demanded for years that the world community rise up to challenge these destructive and dehumanizing population-control policies in Communist China.

Tool to Fight Homosexual Agenda in Schools

The "Risk Audit Project" involves a comprehensive survey to measure the promotion of homosexuality in a given public school district. [Can YOUR school pass?]

The Risk Audit Project measures the extent to which public school districts are collaborating with homosexual activists by determining, among other things, whether schools have adopted pro-homosexual policies or curricula, and whether the school district is sponsoring pro-homosexual clubs, events, or activities. [Are they "tolerant" of religious clubs and their events? Or is it one-sided?] Crampton feels the risk audit is not a luxury for schools but a necessity.

"We believe that since schools are called upon and required to protect children while they're at school, by that same token they have an absolute obligation to do no harm to the children that are under their care," the

AFA Law Center spokesman says. "And so this risk audit is an effort to first ascertain the extent of the activities in our schools and, second, to let the American public know what's really going on." [No More Secrets.....especially with our tax payer money.]

New Zealand Researcher: No Denying, Abortion Harms Women

A self-described pro-choice atheist and rationalist set out to prove that abortion does not have any psychological consequences. He found the opposite, and the results were so profound that they cannot be ignored in the scientific field or the political arena.

Professor David Fergusson, New Zealand researcher at Christchurch School of Medicine and Health, said, "[F]rom a personal point of view, I would have rather seen the results come out the other way -- but they didn't. And as a scientist you have to report the facts, not what you'd like to report." [I admire him for this....many would have altered the data to fit their pre-conceived theorums.]

Fergusson and his colleagues were surprised by the study that followed 500 women from birth to age 25 and revealed that abortive women were one-and-a-half times more likely to suffer mental illness.

"Those having an abortion had elevated rates of subsequent mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, suicidal behaviors and substance use disorders," according to the research published in the Journal of Child Psychiatry and Psychology.

Numerous journals refused to publish the research [I am not surprised....did not fit their "agenda". Sure hurts their credibility though.....which, like trust, once lost is never fully recovered.], but Fergusson defended its relevance saying it would be "scientifically irresponsible" to overlook the findings. "To provide a parallel to this situation, if we were to find evidence of an adverse reaction to medication, we would be obligated ethically to publish that fact," he explained.

"Physicians who ignore this study may no longer be able to argue that they are acting in good faith and may therefore be in violation of the law."

Discrimination Proof~~NOT!

... For decades now homosexual activists have been painting members of the their community as suffering economic discrimination due to their sexual orientation.
But at least in the U.K., that picture seems different from reality. According to The Advocate, a magazine targeting the homosexual community, a recent survey indicates that British homosexuals "have fatter paychecks compared with their straight counterparts."
[Wonder about American gays???? Doubt it would be much different.]

Measured in annual salary, homosexual men earn $60,992 while straight men earn $43,213. A similar gap, although not quite as wide, appeared for women: lesbians earned $44,185 a year, compared to $33,059 for straight women.

"The constant complaint of discrimination just doesn't ring true because homosexuals actually do quite well economically," said American Family Association president Tim Wildmon. "In fact, the well-financed gay lobby groups are simply making the discrimination claims in order to win sympathy from a kindhearted but unsuspecting American -- and, no doubt, British -- public."

Shares in the Ford Motor Company suffered their worst loss in four years on Friday.

As the New York Stock Exchange closed, Ford's stock was down more than seven percent. The big drop came after the company reported a $1.2 billion loss in the first quarter.

As Associated Press noted, the Ford report was in stark contrast to General Motors, which the day before reported record quarterly revenues.

The American Family Association, a pro-family advocacy group, announced in early March it was launching a one-year boycott of the automaker because of its continued financial support of organizations the promote homosexual "marriage."

Christian Business Ordered to Duplicate Homosexual Activist Videos

...The leader of a pro-family group in Virginia says he considering legal action against Arlington County for its investigation into the business policies and practices of a local Christian businessman.

Upon being asked to duplicate two pro-homosexual films, Tim Bono of Bono Film & Video politely refused the business, citing his company policy -- do not duplicate material it deems obscene, that may embarrass employees or tarnish the company's reputation, or that is contrary to Christian and ethical values.

But the customer making the request was long-time lesbian activist Lillian Vincenz, who took her complaint to Arlington County officials, asking them to force Bono to duplicate her materials.

The county's Human Rights Commission subsequently began an investigation into the Christian businessman's actions, even conducting a public hearing to discuss the alleged "discrimination." [Does this mean shirtless, shoeless Joe can now sue as well???? Since when does ANY government have the right to tell a business man or woman with whom they MUST do business? Would the government have demanded them to sell their product to Hitler during WWII? The USSR during the cold war? How about Iraq or Iran during recent conflicts? Is it not your right to refuse service to anyone? It is your business, your product, your loss of revenue: YOUR CHOICE. So why is the government forcing an individual to go against their beliefs? What government has the right to do so.....a fascist government; a totalitarian one; a theocratic one. But NOT an American Republic one. I hope they do fight back in court!]

Those actions by the Human Rights Commission, says Joe Glover of the Family Policy Network, may warrant a lawsuit for what he sees a violation of the religious liberties of Christian business owners.

He sees the response of Vincenz -- a so-called "gay pioneer" in the area who has been promoting homosexual behavior for more than four decades -- as an attempt to quash religious freedom.

"With the help of Arlington County, this lesbian activist proves that [homosexual activists are] really out to publicly use the power of the government to destroy the religious liberties of decent people," says Glover.

The county has reportedly decided that Bono's actions violate Arlington County code that prohibits "discrimination by a public accommodation ... on the basis of sexual orientation or perception thereof."

Glover, however, is seeking out business people in the county who would be willing as anonymous plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the county. The county's involvement, he says, is an "anti-Christian, pro-homosexual witch-hunt" against all businesses in the area.

"It's a heavy-handed threat to turn government against Christians who want to live their lives according to scripture," Glover adds, offering his thoughts on the potential outcome of the case.

"Even if [the homosexual activists] can't win a case like this on the merits, they're out to strike fear in the hearts of Christians who want to live according to their faith.," he says. (See related article)

Homosexual activist predicted takeover of nation

In 1987, gay revolutionist Michael Swift accurately outlined the homosexual movement in America. In less than two decades, Swift's predictions have come to pass. When first published, American Family Association reprinted it in the October 1987, edition of the National Federation for Decency (NFD is now American Family Association (AFA)) Journal.

Ironically, many in the Christian community scoffed at the contention that the homosexual movement could actually attain the article's outrageous goals.

In the text below are the ominous predictions by Michael Swift, "Gay Revolutionary," printed in bold type, from The Congressional Record, first printed in Gay Community News, February 15-21, 1987. Examples of these fortellings coming to pass follow each paragraph:

This essay is outre, madness, a tragic, cruel fantasy, an eruption of inner rage, on how the oppressed dream of being the oppressor.{{Dreams when striven for CAN become reality}} We shall sodomize your sons1, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of your shallow dreams and vulgar lies. 1 Although heterosexuals outnumber homosexuals by a ratio of at least 20 to 1, homosexual pedophiles commit about one third of the total number of child sex offenses.

2 Over 1,700 Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs exist in public schools in the United States. GSA is a project of the The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

In 1996, homosexual activists organized a Day of Silence for the public school setting. More than 1,900 schools across the country participated in 2003. Students gained endorsements from school administrators, who allowed them access to PA systems, bulletin boards, and "Safe Rooms."

In August, 2003, New York announced it will open the first tax-payer funded "gay" school.

We shall give your men pleasures they have never known because we are foremost men too and only one man knows how to truly please another man; only one man can understand with depth and feeling the mind and body of another man.

5 The National Organization for Women is the largest feminist organization in this country working for lesbian rights. The day-in, day-out activism of NOW's quarter of a million members and hundreds of chapters strongly favors same-sex marriage laws.

The YWCA announced it hired feminist Patricia Ireland as its new chief executive officer. Ireland has admitted to engaging in lesbian activities.

All laws banning homosexual activity will be revoked.6 Instead, legislation shall be passed which engenders love between men.

6 On June 26, 2003, the United States Supreme Court ruled sodomy laws were unconstitutional in its 6-3 ruling in the Lawrence v. Texas case. This ruling subsequently struck down similar laws in 16 other states.

Twenty-eight states and over 400 U.S. cities have passed laws protecting the homosexual lifestyle. In addition, 400 colleges, universities,and public schools now offer domestic partner benefits to homosexual employees, as does most of the Fortune 500 companies.

Currently, homosexual activists seek to legalize same-sex marriage.

All homosexuals must stand together as brothers; we must be united artistically, philosophically, socially, politically and financially. We will triumph only when we present a common face to the vicious heterosexual enemy.7

Numerous college and university codes prohibiting "hate speech" have been struck down by the courts. Yet several state-passed hate crimes bills will allow speech to slowly creep into them.

We shall write poems of the love between men; we shall stage plays in which man openly caresses man9; we will make films about the love between heroic men which will replace the cheap, superficial, sentimental, insipid, juvenile, heterosexual infatuations presently dominating your cinema screens. Endowment for the Arts}}to a New York group called Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Inc. and that part of the funding was used to create an obscene play called Broadway Bares XII: A Comic Strip. This play featured homosexual super heroes who stripped off their clothing during the play.

In 2003, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Arlington were named as cities which would host "Puppetry of the Penis performances, in which males manipulated their genitals on a public stage.

Terrence McNally’s Corpus Christi depicts Jesus as a homosexual who has sex with his disciples, and then is crucified for being ‘king of the queers'.

Our writers will make love between men fashionable and de rigeur, and we will succeed because we are adept at setting styles. We will eliminate heterosexual liaisons through usage of the devices of wit and ridicule which we are skilled in employing.10 {{from agenda buster: Well, if these revolutionaries get their way, we won't have to worry as their will be no more children born~~OOPS, how then will the pedophiles get their sexual release with NO CHILDREN TO SODOMIZE???}}

Prime-time shows like Dawson's Creek and Will & Grace project homosexuality as a normal lifestyle. {{Never watched Dawson's Creek and Will & Grace have ALWAYS been banned in this household. They can make these shows, but they CAN'T MAKE MY FAMILY WATCH THEM.}}

We will unmask11 the powerful homosexuals who masquerade as heterosexuals. By infiltrating public shools, homosexual activists continue their "scorched-earth policy to circumvent the definition of "family." In 2001, Homosexual targeted Massachusetts schools with a conference designed to indoctrinate children with pro-homosexual themes.

In 2002, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) insisted that new laws should be passed allowing homosexual couples to adopt children. {{previous blog: "Astonishingly, the daughter of a lesbian had a 33 percent chance of being a lesbian. This result is genetically impossible. A mother and her child cannot be more genetically similar than two sisters. 'But the pattern we observed could mean only one thing: being a lesbian, or a nonheterosexual woman, was 'culturally transmitted,' not inherited..." Therefore these women are raising future lesbians and I'll bet we can statistically state that homosexual men are raising future gay men as well.}}

That same year, with the financial support of corporations, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America required chapters to allow homosexuals to serve as after-schools mentors without parental knowledge. {{ALWAYS without parental knowledge~~what better way to undermine YOUR authority over YOUR children!}}

All churches who condemn us will be closed13 {{Thus begins the persecution of the Godly}}. Our only gods are handsome young men. We adhere to a cult of beauty, moral and esthetic. All that is ugly and vulgar and banal will be annihilated. Since we are alienated from middle-class heterosexual conventions, we are free to live our lives according to the dictates of the pure imagination. For us too much is not enough.

13 Swift missed the mark on this prediction. Instead of shutting down churches, the homosexual movement has infiltrated them. Some denominations now accept and celebrate homosexuality to the point of ordaining homosexual pastors and ministers. In June, 2004, a United Methodist Student Leadership Conference served rainbow-colored bread at a communion service.

The exquisite society to emerge will be governed by an elite comprised of gay poets. One of the major requirements for a position of power in the new society will be indulgence in the Greek passion.14 Any man contaminated with heterosexual lust will be automatically barred from a position of influence. All males who insist on remaining stupidly heterosexual will be tried in homosexual courts of justice and will become invisible men.15

Myth about pornography

...Jan LaRue says it's a "destructive myth" that convinces men and boys it is normal, healthy, and harmless to view adult porn on the Internet -- in fact, she warns, the practice often paves the way to the sexual exploitation of children.

For example, notes LaRue, men are using online pimps to connect with underage prostitutes. "Check his web log," advises the chief counsel for Concerned Women for America, "and you'll find he was at the porn sites long before he went to the pimp sites."

And pedophiles are not the only ones molesting children, she adds. "There is a difference between pedophiles who prefer to have sex with children, and child molesters who prefer to have sex with adults -- but will have sex with a child if the situation presents itself."

And that opportunity, she says, "presents itself big time on the Internet." LaRue, an expert in porn law, has just released the first part of a series titled "The Road to Perversion Is Paved With Pornography," found on the website Human Events Online .

'Reality Porn'

[I have always hated those "reality" tv shows....they just aren't something I'm willing to waste my precious time on. But this......this was I suppose the next 'logical' step to those "reality" shows. The questions will be to see how quickly this comes to cable and how America reacts to this invasion of our homes. I hope I am surprised by their reactions......that they will be screaming about this and reporting it to the FCC; but I don't think I'm gonna hold my breath.....just in case.]

Promotes Immorality, Corrupts Family Members

Once again the smut industry is finding new ways to lure in new customers and add to the already billions of dollars it collects from Americans each year. "Reality porn" is the new rage -- and, as with other forms of pornography, it is corrupting men, boys, and family members across the county. [I have no problem with why Islam views us as the "great satan" of the west.....look what we allow to come into our midst. Of course, nor do I think they are total innocents over there.....men are too easily corruptible wherever we live]

While liberal jurists continue to protect porn millionaires and obscenity pushers, untold thousands of men and boys are being swept into viewing porn by these new reality sites. While the Justice Department demonstrates its apathy in enforcing obscenity laws, young adult video entrepreneurs [it's about the money.....GREED, what a vice!] arrange parties made up of men and women who know they will have sex together.[looking for love in all the wrong places?] They intentionally invite other men and women, often college-age, attempting to draw them into group-sex situations. During these events, beer is flowing freely.

These "set-up" reality sites often are filmed on college campuses or in fraternity houses, bars (after hours), strip clubs, or private homes around the country. These young porn entrepreneurs show they will do anything for a buck. Promoters of these sites actively encourage sexual activity while the girls are heavily intoxicated. They know that this type of content will attract more paying customers to their sites.

What some of the female participants do not realize is that once their images are caught on tape, they will be shown countless times over the worldwide web. Several months ago I spoke to a former Playboy centerfold model who was distraught that past pornographic images were still being circulated on the Internet. She's annoyed that pornographers like Hugh Hefner are still making money over photos that she would rather forget.

Likewise, participants in "reality porn" need to understand is that once their images are on the Internet, it's close to impossible to retrieve them. [Try explaining that one to a future spouse~~male or female!] It's obvious that these 21st-century smut peddlers are taking advantage of college-age kids by getting them intoxicated and involving them in a situations that are way over their head.

Reality porn sites, as other forms of pornography, strip away the moral fabric of our society. Their message is that group sex is okay, that infidelity is normal, that a physical sex act means nothing between "consenting adults," and that multiple partnering is acceptable. Every day these Internet sites entrap and enslave men.

Parents need to defend their families from this rot. We need to find effective ways to shield our children and our men from the avalanche of smut that pornographers are putting on the Internet. [How soon before it hits the television airwaves??? $$$$ is the deciding factor in this industry that has lost its morals and scruples.] We need to protect our families from liberal judges who continue to insult us with their wacky decisions that support these obscenity peddlers. We need to vote out of office politicians who will not enforce laws that are designed to protect society from this immoral filth.

We need to promote an environment that will not shut its door on our children's innocence. My advice? Protect your family -- buy a good Internet filter, and know where your child and the men in your family access the Internet. Make sure that your software will protect your child's innocence. It's easier to protect your child this way than it is to remove deviant imagery from their minds that can lurk for a lifetime. Your child and your family are your heritage. Protect them at all costs!

Liberty Counsel, PFOX Join Forces to Spread Truth About Homosexuality

A Christian law firm is teaming up with a national organization to help public school students proclaim the truth about homosexuality and the hopeful message that change is possible for those struggling with same-sex attractions.

On the eve of the "Day of Silence" -- a nationwide pro-homosexual observance scheduled for April 26 -- the Orlando, Florida-based legal group Liberty Counsel and the national advocacy group Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) are conducting a joint effort called the "Change is Possible Campaign."

This outreach focuses on public schools, which the two groups believe have been targeted by homosexual activists eager to promote their lifestyle to school children.

Mat Staver, president of Liberty Counsel, says public schools across America have become ground zero for homosexual activists and their efforts to indoctrinate young people into their lifestyle. Unfortunately," Staver notes, "when youths as young as kindergarteners or in second grade on up get indoctrinated with the view that they ought to engage in homosexual activity to determine their sexual identity -- that it's normal, it's natural, and everyone's doing it -- they ultimately, when they go down that path, can become emotionally and physically damaged because they don't know the full story."

That "full story" is rarely heard in America's public schools, the head of Liberty Counsel points out. Instead, he asserts, tolerance is promoted there, but it is not practiced when it comes to students that want to openly proclaim the truth about homosexuality. "I think it's important for youth in America to get the full message," Staver says, "to get the other side of the message instead of being discriminated against because they have a moral and Christian or pro-family view -- instead of being discriminated against because they're saying that you can in fact change."

Biotech Industry Reminded That Human Dignity Must Remain Paramount

The biotech industry, which just concluded a huge convention in Chicago, is being challenged by a Christian segment of the industry to avoid ethical lapses.

While BIO 2006 was taking place, the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity -- based in Bannockburn, IL, just north of Chicago -- was on hand to activate the industry's conscience. "We are for biotechnology," explains CBHD's director of communications Joe Carter, "but we believe it needs to be couched in a framework of Christian ethics."

...the biotech industry's ethics have lapsed in recent years. He cites two areas of research as examples of that slip: embryonic stem-cell research and human cloning.

"Most scientists will tell you that any cures [resulting from embryonic stem-cell research] are 20 to 30 years away, if it's even possible, because embryonic stem cells are harder to work with than adult stem cells," he says.

"Another example is therapeutic cloning. There is no such thing as therapeutic cloning. There are no therapies involved with cloning."

The biotech industry, he asserts, "kind of downplays those solid facts and kind of plays up the cures angle, even though they know it's not true."

Carter believes the industry's ethical slide is a result of the issues being tied to the abortion debate, and because many researchers depend on government tax dollars to subsidize their work. He contends

Sex Sting Operation

An elementary school principal who also serves as a Baptist deacon [not for long.....] is among several men caught in an undercover sex sting operation at a public park in Beaumont, Texas.

For several months the Beaumont Police Department has been receiving complaints from families regarding illicit homosexual activity occurring in Tyrrell Park, a multi-use park frequented by picnickers, golfers, and bird watchers. Seven men were recently arrested in the park for indecent exposure -- a Class B misdemeanor -- after they approached undercover officers explicitly for homosexual sex acts.

According to news reports, individuals and parents had complained numerous times about men approaching them in the park, asking for sexual favors and exposing their genitals. A news release from the Beaumont Police Department says the sting operation wants to send the message to "those who choose this lifestyle that at any moment they could be placed under arrest and their names and faces made public."

[If it was an acceptable lifestyle choice, then why the clandestine, illicit meetings? Why didn't the 7 just "do" each other? in their own hotel room?

No, they wanted to entice others to get involved in these sex acts--that's what makes it so thrilling. And this is why it will never be viewed as a legitimate, alternative lifestyle....and why our children are at risk to their Machiavellian seduction.]

Movie Shows Capacity for Human Love to Go Astray

Brokeback's Heartbreak
[Forbidden love can BREAK one's back and spirit]

"It is the talk of Hollywood, a movie about two homosexual cowboys that is being touted as a vehicle that will change the way America views homosexuality -- and perhaps even same-sex marriage."

[At least it is hollywood's hope that once again they can influence American viewpoints. I think they may have a more difficult time of it this go round as many Americans do not consider homosexuality normal, or healthy.

Of course, it they just keep bombarding us with it, then perhaps many will become more accepting of this lifestyle.......just as most Americans have become accepting of the normalicy of pornography~~ thank you "Friends"; or the normalicy of prosmicuity~~thank you the 60's: "love, sex, rock & roll" or "make love, not war".

I suppose if you scream it enough, it becomes FACT.

But there are just as many Americans who will ALWAYS affirm that homosexuality; as well as pornography and promiscuity; are BAD for people. ]

"The movie also serves as a shameless shill for homosexual advocates who demand society's full acceptance of homosexuality. Even secular reviewers could see this, although they then applauded the message.

Beneath the surface, however, there is much more going on in Brokeback Mountain, so much so that Entertainment Weekly's Owen Gleiberman said the film was 'a quietly revolutionary love story.'

And it is revolutionary, because Brokeback Mountain asks the viewer to embrace what is essentially a pagan view of love and sex.

That pagan, pre-Christian view of what we call 'romantic love' was called eros, and it proposed that love was a power that simply grabbed people unaware and drove them to each other with an irresistible force.

This is not necessarily something new for Hollywood, which has been promoting such a view of the uncontrollable power of love between heterosexuals long before two homosexual cowboys became the focus." [The English Patient; or The Bridges of Madison County. Both received RAVE reviews; but I despised both~~thought they were horrible stories and had no empathy for the characters at all. Wondered what had happened to people's "self-control"?]

Boundaries for the Fire

Certainly, eros is a powerful emotion. When kindled within the heart, it can burn like a warming fire. But it can also inflame everything and everyone around it. In other words, like fire, love may, indeed, have the appearance of a "force of nature."

What gives love its destructive fire is, of course, the fact that love is often consummated by sex. The act of sex not only expresses the love but deepens it, as it welds the souls of those who physically join themselves together.

It is interesting to note, as Pope Benedict does, that of the three Greek words for love -- eros, philia, and agape -- the New Testament never uses eros in its discussions of Christian love.

This is not to suggest that romantic love is considered un-Christian.

Instead, Christianity revolutionized the concept of eros altogether. In the Judeo-Christian worldview, man is not simply a passive agent, acted upon by eros or anything else. The expectation was that human beings -- within the institution of marriage -- would experience and enjoy eros, but they were to be its masters, not its servants.

The potential for heartbreak when two people begin down the wrong path towards a sinful coupling is one of the reasons why God has set boundaries on human relationships. This is certainly why sex is reserved by God only for marriage and only between heterosexuals.

However, love Hollywood-style flagrantly disregards God's boundaries.

In Premiere magazine, Gyllenhaal says of Brokeback: "The idea of the story is that love has no bounds .... People just think, 'Guy gets the girl, guy loses girl, guy gets stoned.' This movie is not that. The idea ultimately is, if you have love, no matter what that love is, whatever the boundaries, you have to hold on to it."

One has to wonder if Gyllenhaal would give a big Hollywood thumbs up to incest as long as the participants "have love."

Why not? If two people -- three people? four? -- love each other, why should they heed any boundaries? And what about adultery? When Gyllenhaal marries, surely he would look unkindly upon his wife were she to be unfaithful a la The English Patient.

The truth is, love is not right simply because it exists. Boundaries in human relationships -- like boundaries for driving, voting, or getting money out of one's ATM -- are there for a reason. In instituting boundaries for love and sex, God protects us and provides the means for orderly and honorable human society.

We break those rules at our own risk and our own pain. [We CAN get burned by love.]

In his review for CNN.com, Paul Clinton says, "Human beings have a deep need to love and to be loved in return. Brokeback Mountain celebrates that need without making any moral judgments."

But this worship of eros has the effect of justifying things which God has forbidden and, in the case of Brokeback Mountain, things which He declares to be an abomination.

While Clinton is certainly right about the human need to love and be loved, he assumes that human love is the answer to that need.

The full truth, however, is that mankind was created -- above all other things and all other loves -- to love and be loved by God.

...Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth, says homosexual activists' crashing of the April 17 White House Easter Egg Roll is just the latest demonstration of selfishness by adult "gay" activists, who consistently place their agenda ahead of the best interests of children.

Christian Newswire reports that the homosexual group known as the Family Pride Coalition is using the traditional annual White House event as a vehicle to showcase "lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) families" and boasts that over 100 LGBT-led "families" would attend the event, with adults and supporters wearing rainbow-colored Hawaiian leis.

But LaBarbera says these homosexual activists should be ashamed for "exploiting an event designed solely to bring joy to young children" by staging " a crass publicity stunt to promote 'gay parenting.'"

The Americans for Truth spokesman says a recurring motif runs throughout the homosexual agenda, whether activists are "redefining marriage to legitimate sexual sin, indoctrinating impressionable schoolchildren with pro-homosexual lesson plans, legally harassing the Boy Scouts, pushing 'gay adoption' ... or crashing a White House Easter Egg roll ... one common theme stands out: it's all about the 'gay' adults and their desperate need for approval of their lifestyle choice, not what's best for children."

The Family Pride Coalition's publicity stunt "represents a new low in the movement for 'rights' based on aberrant sex," LaBarbera says. It is a pity, he adds, that the homosexual group had to "tarnish a great tradition" like the White House Easter Egg Roll with this "in-your-face political maneuver."

Wow. Easter may never be the same after this.

Soulforce is planning to "crash" the White House easter egg roll this year. Their goal? To "spotlight" their non-traditional families.

Once America sees the White House lawn awash in LGBT [sounds like a sandwhich~~~lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender population] families, "there will be no going back," Soulforce promised.

[Who is Soulforce?] It is the political organizing tool of self-described "militant gay activist" Mel White, the former Jerry Falwell speech writer who discovered his gayness and became a clergyman in the predominantly homosexual Metropolitan Community Churches.

Over the years, Soulforce has become well known for its disruptive demonstrations and acts of civil disobedience at the conventions of religious denominations that do not share its views on sexual ethics. Invariably these churches, even the liberal mainline ones, are portrayed by Soulforce as "anti-gay."

Soulforce's main partner in crashing the White House Easter Egg roll is the Family Pride Coalition (FPC), which is the "only national non-profit organization solely dedicated to equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) parents and their families."

Recipients of the Soulforce email were asked to be "discreet" and not to post the information on websites because the "success of this action depends on keeping it under the radar of the media and the administration!!!"

Like Soulforce, the FPC also wants its members to be secretive about the plan. A passage on its page about the event reads:

"Important Note: If word about this reaches the administration or any of our opponents, there may be an effort to keep our families from participating. Please tell as many LGBT families as possible about this event, but please DO NOT post a link to this page on a searchable website. It is fine though, to forward the link directly to LGBT families."

[Only evil wishes to hide...]

Linda Harvey, an advocate of the pro-family group Mission America, says leaders of Gay Straight Alliance clubs in schools falsely claim their main focus is fighting discrimination.

"You can quickly find out that these clubs are about homosexual sex -- about getting kids connected with people who are already involved in sexual activity, about promoting the books, the movies, and all of the contacts that are very sexual in nature," Harvey says. "That is very disingenuous -- and there is a problem here, in that people need to do the research and stand up and say what the truth is."

It is extremely dishonest for GSAs to claim they exist merely to promote tolerance and diversity when, in fact, they are promoting homosexual immorality to young people. She notes that a brief search of websites like GSANetwork.org or SafeSchoolsCoalition.org supports her contention.

Reparative Therapies

...A report released in Florida recently is claiming that some Christian organizations cause harm to homosexual teenagers by offering parents "reparative therapies" designed to help their children turn away from homosexuality.

According to Associated Press reports, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy Institute has questioned the ethics and the effectiveness of such therapies. The homosexual organization has also warned that officials need to make sure those offering such therapies are licensed counselors as opposed to simply being clergy.

The report was released in Florida because that is the home of Exodus International, the umbrella organization for many Christian ministries that offer to help people overcome homosexual desires.

Alan Chambers, president of Exodus International, counts himself as one of the many former homosexuals who can attest to the success of such ministries.

Dr. Warren Throckmorton, a psychology professor and Christian therapist, points out that, while some homosexual activist groups "have made the elimination of sexual reorientation counseling a central focus of their advocacy efforts," other individuals that have experienced same-sex attraction but choose not to orient their lives around those sexual feelings are "adamant" that sexual reorientation counseling should be made available.

Myth # 1: Homosexuality is no more risky than heterosexuality. On the contrary, public health studies reveal that homosexual practices are much higher-risk than those of heterosexuals-- and heterosexuals aren’t behaving all that well!

Also much more prevalent among “gays” and “lesbians” is use of alcohol and drugs. Mental health issues are also reported more frequently by homosexuals, including compulsive behaviors.1

Myth #2: Hate crimes laws are needed to protect homosexuals against the constant threat of violence by ‘homophobic’ people.

While hate crimes laws do exist in a few states and cities, most have rejected adding more penalties to laws when the crime involves homosexuality. Why? Simply because it sets up a system of inequality. Homosexuals become more “worthy” than other people who are victimized in the same way. A little old lady who is robbed and assaulted would see her attacker punished less than the attacker of a homosexual, for the same exact crime.

Hate crime laws, by adding a layer of penalties if a crime involves homosexuals, are a back-door way to gain more status for homosexuality, and put an undeserved eye of suspicion on anyone who doesn’t approve of it. The fact is that the vast majority of Americans don’t approve of homosexuality, but also would never harm anyone who is a homosexual, either. There is no convincing evidence for an epidemic of violence against homosexuals.2

Myth #3: It’s been proven that homosexuality is genetic...in fact, about 10% of the population is homosexual.

Uh, no. The reality is that no such evidence exists. Many people engage in homosexuality for a time, then leave it behind. Ex-homosexuals have told their stories and more are coming forward all the time. Some people live as heterosexuals for decades and then leave a spouse for a homosexual relationship. Also, certain celebrities (Anne Heche, Sinead O’Connor) have had well-publicized changes in preference. And bisexuality is choice, by definition.

There is actually a lot of evidence that homosexuality cannot be inborn.3

Myth #4: Same sex marriages do not threaten current American families in any way...

Because of the differing values of homosexuals, legalizing same sex marriage would substantially change what “marriage” means.4

Many predict other forms of marriage like polygamy would also become legal. Group marriage is quietly supported now by “gay rights” groups and the ACLU...

Myth #5: Ex-homosexuals are fakes; it’s harmful to try to force someone to change their orientation.

Anyone who takes the time to actually read ex-homosexuals’ life stories would have trouble saying the experiences are not authentic. There are currently hundreds of organizations in the U.S. helping people leave the homosexual lifestyle. Not only are they not phony, they are having an amazing impact because (again), homosexuality is not an inborn condition. That’s why the “gay” lobby is desperate to create false and misleading impressions. It’s ironic that groups claiming to stand for “choice” and tolerance act like rigid bigots when discussing ex-homosexuals.

Myth # 6: Only religions that are tolerant of homosexuality should be allowed to express their opinions in public venues like schools and campuses.

Think about the implications of this intolerant position, which is being adopted all across America by people who claim to be unbiased and inclusive. This sounds very much like fascism, yet many young people have embraced this view, which is built on some of the unfactual myths listed here. What are people afraid of? This flies in the face of what America has always stood for: religious freedom, impartial debate, and free speech. There are some excellent reasons to oppose homosexuality and it’s not just religious people who do so, but those who are willing to examine all the facts.

Myth #7: God loves everyone, so homosexuality is fine.

God does love everyone, but not our sins, which is the reason Christ died and rose again--to save us from sin. God loves murderers, anorexics and liars-- and wants these people to stop their damage to others and to themselves. It’s the same with homosexuality. Such desires are directly the opposite of positive, healthy choices, and scientists remain unconvinced that any humans are born to become homosexual. Plenty of evidence attests to the damage to the body, mind and spirit resulting from homosexual sex. There are many logical reasons why it remains a sin.

Myth #8: The Bible does not oppose homosexuality.

If the Bible’s clear passages against homosexuality can’t be believed, it isn’t believable on anything.

Consider: “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22)

And, “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.” (Romans 1:26-27)

And these aren’t the sole passages, but the others are similar and convey the same message: Don’t.

Myth #9: Real Christian love calls for acceptance of homosexuality.

On the contrary, the authentic Christian is characterized by devotion to truth and love as revealed by Christ, not mushy ideas formed by today’s worldly trends.

While Christ is often merciful even to those who have sinned, He never excuses sin or calls it less than what it is.

John the Baptist’s primary message to the world to prepare for Christ was not a call for tolerance; it was a call to repentance. (Matthew 3:2; Mark 1:4) Christ told the woman caught in adultery, “Go and sin no more.” (John 8:11) Love as exemplified by Christ was always framed with His truth and righteousness. Christ said, “He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.” (John 14:21) and “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word.” (John 14:23) Real love starts with love of Christ and all He taught.

The passage, “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matthew 7:1) cautions us to judge carefully without hypocrisy, not to withhold judgment. Four verses later, Christ completes the thought with, “Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” (Matthew 7:5)

Myth #10: Jesus never said anything about homosexuality.

And Jesus is never quoted on the subjects of rape or wife beating either. Would that mean that these actions are okay? Christ was God on earth, and as such, was part of all the Old Testament teaching on sexual morality. The Jews were more than familiar with this, so there was a lot that didn’t need to be re-stated in the New Testament. And Christ specifically described marriage as being “from the beginning” between one man and one woman. (Matthew 19:4-6; Mark 10:6-9).

Christ and the apostles still believed that sexual morality did not include homosexual acts.

However, Bob Knight of the Culture and Family Institute (CFI) takes issue with that statement. He believes Lim's talk of safety is cover for the homosexual agenda. "What (such policies) produce is intolerance toward anyone who won't accept homosexuality," he says, adding that in this case, that means "teachers who know that it's not a good thing to sell kids on the idea that it's okay to be gay."

According to Knight, the heated debate going on at San Leandro High is not about safety at all. "This is about bullying people and saying you will kneel down and bow to the Baal god of homosexuality -- or we'll make your life very miserable," he says.

The CFI spokesman maintains the school district is demonstrating intolerance toward the five teachers who are choosing not to display the posters -- and those teachers, he adds, are courageous for standing up to the mandate. [Amen!]

"The school district has no business telling teachers to glorify behavior that has such a long list of known health risks," Knight says. "This ought to be treated as a public health issue -- not a matter of civil rights, as (homosexual activists) like to frame it." [This principal and EVERY teacher supporting this should face charges of child abuse. To encourage children to experiment with a lifestyle that has such deadly consequences IS child abuse.]

"When you put a rainbow poster up in your classroom, you're lending the authority of the teacher to the gay-rights movement," he explains. In essence, says Knight, the district is saying: "Kids, go ahead and try this behavior. Even your teacher is for it."

The principal says she expects to see the posters up in all 200 classrooms this week, and will have "a private conversation" with any teacher who is not in compliance with the policy. [Can we say, COERCION??? HOW ABOUT LAWSUIT?????]

The Desensitizing of America

Those with an agenda know in order for their agendas to gain acceptance, they must first desensitize Americans. Or as one of my siblings says, they must anesthetize Americans.

It started with violence. Pro-family groups, pediatricians, churches and other groups have long stated that constant exposure to violence IS harmful to our children. They have been stating this since the 70's! Yet, "gory-wood" denies this. (Recent research to support this theory: Agape Press)

In the long run, Americans wimped out and didn't fight "gory-wood" on this issue. So, tv and movies are more violent than ever.

Therefore, is it any surprise that now they are pushing their next agenda on a public that will probably once again DO NOTHING.

"Homo-wood" is now anesthetizing middle America to their pro-homosexual teachings. How?

Repetition, repetition, repetition.....in tv, movies, plays, song, etc.

As intriguing as 'The Silence of the Lambs' was a few years back, I was rooting for 'Beauty and the Beast' to win. When it didn't, I figured the "hopeful" movie would not be a winner (much less a nominee) again for a very long time. I can truly say, I have not watched an academy award presentation since then!

What kind of viewpoint does hollywood have? It is most definitely a secular world view~~and they can have that viewpoint.

But as a movie lover and patron, I don't have to support it.

As a Christian, I will NOT.

If you profess to be a Christian, you know you should have a
Biblical world view.

You know you should not be supporting those things that are
anti-God and evil.

Conclusion: you should NOT be supporting television shows or movies with these themes.

To do so, you are allowing yourself to become anesthetized to evil.

That was the problem with the nation of Germany during WWII.

If Christian America STOPPED supporting this type of "entertainment" maybe hollywood would get the message and STOP making this swill.

Just what IS the Solution???? It's kinda radical.

TURN OFF your TVs.

FYI: I promise after 3 months of (withdrawal from the drug tv) NO television, you will find yourself NOT missing it!!!!!! You will find you have more time to really do those things you love~~reading, gardening, computing, writing, your hobbies, spending time with your children/family, studying the Word!

In the long run, your family will thank you.

"A Harris Poll in September 2004 revealed women to be much more critical of pornography, in general, than men.

At the same time, a slightly larger number of women over men favor government regulation of online pornography, if such were possible.

Specifically, 57 percent of women believe "pornography is demeaning towards women" as compared to 38 percent of men.

In addition, 47 percent of women and 33 percent of men believe porn "harms relationships between men and women."

No wonder women feel like there are no GOOD men out there. Statistically, we're a bunch of jerks!

"While there was no unanimity regarding the impact of pornography on children, both men and women agreed the effects were mostly negative. Only 2 percent said 'it helps kids better understand sexuality.' "

Want to bet that 2% are the "Sex by 8 or it's too late" crowd????

Columnist Dr. Warren Throckmorton says the website contain erroneous information and also notes that the website touts information from homosexual advocacy groups.

This is an improper use of taxpayer money to post information from homosexual advocacy groups on a government website.

The danger in this, says Throckmorton, is that "the person seeking this information on a government website would have no idea that this is advocacy-related information."

...The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has removed an agency website containing numerous pages of what some conservatives called "pro-homosexual propaganda."

The website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration boasted of "celebrating the pride and diversity among and within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender populations."

The Family Research Council had called on the government to take down the site. Conservative columnist Dr. Warren Throckmorton said the website contained inaccurate statistics and was a waste of tax dollars.

[Just as the 'other' side has known all along.....ACTIVISM works. Let YOUR voice be heard. No more fence straddling America. You are going to have to choose sides. Tolerance and compromise VS. Righteousness.

Sisters and Brothers in the Lord:

We, renewal leaders in various North American Protestant denominations, write you with thanksgiving for Christ's great work of reconciliation and sanctification. It is our only hope in life and death.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith in Christ's work, looking to him as the sole source of unity and purity within his church. There are constantly shifting alternatives that offer a false, cheap peace. But we urge you not to let go of the true and costly peace won by Jesus Christ.

As many of us gathered October 17-18 in Arlington, Virginia, we noted a shifting situation in several denominations. This letter is our attempt to alert you to these new developments.

The debate within our churches over biblical standards for human sexuality may be entering a new phase. For decades, revisionists have argued that the Scriptures, properly understood, do not prohibit homosexuality as it is practiced today. Indeed, they have insisted that biblical values of "justice" require the acceptance of homosexual relationships.

Increasingly, however, the arguments have shifted. We now see, in several denominations, a new strategy to win the church's affirmation of homosexual acts. This new strategy is less direct. It is offered as a "compromise," a "third way." Yet the effect would be the same: to undermine and ultimately to set aside the historic Christian teaching that affirms God's good gift of sexual intimacy solely within the marriage of man and woman.

We stand opposed to this false "third way," with the same firmness with which we opposed the earlier attempts to re-interpret the Bible. We warn you to beware such "compromises" that give away too much.

The essence of the new strategy is this: to leave in church law books the orthodox standards calling Christians to fidelity in marriage and sexual abstinence in singleness, while inventing procedural devices permitting church bodies and officials to disregard the standards at will. This strategy has been proposed-and, in some cases, functionally adopted-in the Episcopal Church, the American Baptist Churches, the United Methodist Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Insofar as it succeeds in some of those denominations, the strategy will likely be replicated elsewhere.

This strategy marks, in some ways, a retreat by the pro-homosexuality advocates. Tacitly, they are conceding that the weight of biblical and traditional Christian teaching is against them. They have not been able adequately to answer the powerful exegesis buttressing that teaching, represented especially by Robert Gagnon's masterwork The Bible and Homosexual Practice. The pro-homosexuality advocates have not persuaded most church members to abandon the historic teaching. For this indirect vindication of the truth, we must all be grateful to God.

Yet we cannot be content with standards that remain on paper while being emptied of all force. This false "compromise" would be, in some respects, more damaging than a straightforward blessing of homosexual relations. Not only would it convey tolerance of sin in the important area of sexuality, but it would also set the church adrift more generally.

This "third way" would sever the church's practice from its doctrine. It would set a terrible precedent of a church openly acknowledging a biblical command and then treating obedience to that command as optional. If denominations start granting exemptions from church discipline in one area, it will be very difficult to maintain any kind of covenant of mutual accountability within the church. No promise of ecclesiastical peace and unity can justify these distortions of the church's theology and polity.

Advocates for this "third way" make arguments that strain credibility to the breaking point. They claim that they are "proposing no changes" to the church's standards. But in fact they are seeking a radical change-to demote the standards to "non-essential" status. They claim that their "compromise" would split the difference between traditionalist and revisionist views on sexuality. But in fact it would yield exactly the result desired by the revisionists-moral approbation of non-marital sex-on a slightly longer timeline.

"Third way" proponents also claim that their solution would strike a balance between different interpretations of the Scriptures. When two interpretations are mutually contradictory, these proponents want to accept both the one and the other as equally valid. They urge the church to "get beyond yes/no polarities" that force it to make painful choices. Their "third way" would avoid such choices by affirming all individuals interpreting the Bible as sincere and faithful Christians.

This approach is utter nonsense. The Bible is filled with unavoidable yes/no choices: "I set before you life and death, blessing and curse" (Deuteronomy 30:19); "Choose this day whom you will serve" (Joshua 24:15); "He will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left" (Matthew 25:33); "Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you" (Revelation 3:20).

A church that systematically refuses to choose between truth and error has no place left to stand. To the extent that any church declines to distinguish the better from the worse biblical interpretations, it undercuts its own ability to teach clear doctrine from the Scriptures.

The existence of different interpretations does not imply that all those interpretations are equally valid. Nor does it imply that all interpreters are equally faithful. On the contrary, it is more likely that every interpreter falls short of complete faithfulness-to a greater or lesser degree. The church cannot give unconditional affirmation to all its members' personal views of Scripture. It always has the responsibility to seek the most faithful interpretation and to act upon it.

We are convinced-by the consistent testimony of the Scriptures and the Church Universal, through the ages and around the world-that the fidelity in marriage and abstinence in singleness standard remains the most faithful interpretation of God's will for human sexuality. This is an essential component of our calling in the Lord Jesus and our sanctification through the Holy Spirit, who purposes to "present [us] holy and blameless and irreproachable before him." We ask you to stand steadfast with us in rejecting any compromise that would shift Christ's church away from that godly endeavor.

Donor Network Right to Refuse Organs from Homosexual, Says Christian Doc

Friends and family of a Tucson man are crying discrimination after the homosexual man's organs were rejected by the Donor Network of Arizona.

However, a Kansas surgeon who works in organ transplantation says the decision was a good one. [Sorry, but I wouldn't want an organ from a known homosexual. HIV is hard to detect in its earliest stages; why would anyone who needed an organ want to risk it? They wouldn't.]

A spokesman from the Network says the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta has established guidelines allowing centers to reject donations from men who have had sex with men in the last five years. Dr. David Pauls, a spokesman for the Christian Medical Association, says those guidelines are needed regardless -- even if the donor is HIV negative, as in Albert Soto's [active homosexual] case.

"Number one, HIV in early stages cannot be detected on testing [see!]; it takes a little bit (of time) there," Pauls explains. "But even if he's HIV negative, there's other infectious diseases that are fairly common within the homosexual population -- particularly hepatitis, which can be a very deadly complication in somebody who receives a transplant, and that sometimes also can be missed by screening."

Pauls says the organ donation and transplant business is heavily reliant on trust. "Trust is probably one of the most valuable commodities we have," he says. "If I ... as a physician am going to be doing a transplant, I'm want to do everything I can to make sure that the organs or the tissue that I'm transplanting is safe and is not going to cause other problems or other diseases in that patient."

Transplant patients, he says, obviously should have the same concerns. In Soto's case, Pauls says the man's risky sexual behavior makes using his organs a high risk for the recipient, who otherwise might be put in a position of being exposed to deadly infections. Meanwhile, Soto's family is petitioning officials in Tucson to change the CDC guidelines. [Let's hope the CDC doesn't listen to them. Selfish, even unto death.] The man died after suffering a stroke on Thanksgiving Day.

Porn~~the all American fun family activity

What's that saying? The family that poses together, stays together?

Oops, that's NOT right. Was it offensive? It was meant to be.

Pornography has become such a "normal" thing in society that soon, you WILL see families posing together in pornographic magazines.

It use to be delivered in a brown paper wrapper. I remember seeing it delivered to my friend's dad every month. I vividly remember when my friend found his dad's "stash" of magazines. Yes, we looked. It was forbidden; so we looked. I don't really recall my friends reaction. But I remember the guilt. It was the only time I viewed those materials. Because, I didn't want my life ruled by a worldly pleasure that gave me guilt. I KNEW at 12, it was WRONG. Now, at nearly 50, it is still WRONG.

But it no longer comes wrapped in a brown paper package. No, today we show it on primetime tv; in the movie house; in catalogs; in commercials~~such as for hamburgers no less, the all American food.

We let little girls dress in provocative styles, prancing around in commercials selling those same clothes to our daughters.

And then wonder what the hell is wrong with those men (pedophiles) who lust after them.

Well, America, what the hell is wrong with YOU for allowing your daughters to dress this way?

What the hell is wrong with a nation that considers pornography just healthy, clean, fun?

A lot!

Ask the spouses of those who have become addicted; yes, addicted; to pornography. How has it affected their families? Do they feel BETRAYED? CHEATED ON? HURT? REJECTED? ANGRY? ABANDONED? JEALOUS?

What were the consequences when it was found out that a spouse was cheating on them with the computer and pornography? Seperation? DIVORCE?

The consequences far outweigh any short term gratification experienced. But then again, the people of this nation have become addicted to "instant gratification" and damned be the consequences.

Informed Consent Laws

...An informed consent law put in place in Minnesota by a government health department appears to be working, as evident from the state's lowest abortion rate since 1975.

A study of abortion statistics released by the Center for Health Statistics for the Department of Health for the period January to December 2004 shows that more than 2,000 women changed their minds about having an abortion after receiving information supplied in accordance with the law.

The law, known as the Women's Right to Know, requires a waiting period before aborting and provides full information regarding the nature of abortion.

"This clearly shows that Women's Right to Know is working," says Scott Fischbach, executive director of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life -- a key supporter of the law.

[Way to go Minnesota!]

Rampant Teenage Sex

This is just one of those "well, duh" moments. Hollywood AND television glamorize the promiscuous lifestyle and really have become quite blatant or graphic in their depictions of "simulated" sex. Gee, guys, way to go~~what a wonderful role model you all have become!

But according to Slate, there is another horrific rise in teenage sexual experimentation~~of which they said it best:]

"Talking to your kids about oral sex is the easy part.[Did I hear a huge gasp out there?] If you're going to be frank about the most dangerous widespread activity revealed in the survey, you're looking at the wrong end of the digestive tract.

There's no delicate way to put this, so I'll just quote the survey report:

For males, the proportion who have had anal sex with a female increases from 4.6 percent at age 15 to 34 percent at ages 22–24; for females, the proportion who have had anal sex with a male increases from 2.4 percent at age 15 to 32 percent at age 22–24.

One in three women admits to having had anal sex by age 24. By ages 25 to 44, the percentages rise to 40 for men and 35 for women. And that's not counting the 3.7 percent of men aged 15 to 44 who've had anal sex with other men."

[While STD's can be transmitted through oral sex, it is more difficult to contract them this way; however, anal sex transmits these diseases quite effectively. Check out the CDC's report earlier this year]

"...the probability of HIV acquisition by the receptive partner in unprotected oral sex with an HIV carrier is one per 10,000 acts. In vaginal sex, it's 10 per 10,000 acts. In anal sex, it's 50 per 10,000 acts.

Do the math. Oral sex is 10 times safer than vaginal sex. Anal sex is five times more dangerous than vaginal sex and 50 times more dangerous than oral sex. Presumably, oral sex is far more frequent than anal sex. But are you confident it's 50 times more frequent?

If you live in Bergen County, N.J., congratulations. You get the only newspaper in the world that mentioned heterosexual anal sex, albeit briefly, in its write-up of the survey. Two other papers buried it in lines of statistics below their articles; the rest completely ignored it. [Typical~~majority of these papers only report whatever supports their agendas for the day, week, month, year.....]

Evidently anal sex is too icky to mention in print. But not too icky to have been tried by 35 percent of young women and 40 to 44 percent of young men—or to have killed some of them.

The spin that activists, scholars, and journalists have put on the survey—that abstinence-only sex education is driving teenagers to an epidemic of oral sex—doesn't hold up. As the survey report notes, data 'suggest that there was little or no change (accounting for sampling error) in the proportion of males 15-19 who had ever had heterosexual oral or anal sex between 1995 and 2002.' Because you cannot be unrepentant and expect your congregation to do so. Or in a worldly viewpoint: what is good for the goose is good for the gander.....OR how about that "Do as I say and not as I do" philosophy?]

A fellow blogger, conservativebynature, sent me a copy of an email that was sent to the various retailers who have decided to "diss" our Christian holiday of Christmas. [Walgreens, Sears, Lowes, Dell, Target, Kroger, J.C. Penney, Best Buy, Staples, and Office Max.]

This is what was sent:

How tolerant of you to acknowledge every other religions holy days; to not want to "offend" anyone who is NOT a Christian.

What happened to your tolerance in regards to my Christian holy day? What about offending ME?

MAYBE CHRISTIANS SHOULD JUST QUIT CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS. IT'S BECOME TOO "COMMERCIAL" ANYWAY.

RATHER THAN EXCHANGING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF GIFTS, PERHAPS WE SHOULD INSTEAD DONATE THAT MONEY TO A CHARITY THAT SUPPORTS OUR CHRISTIAN IDEALS.

IF 83% OF AMERICANS ARE CHRISTIANS, RETAILERS WOULD CERTAINLY GET THE BIG PICTURE THEN AND WE WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING CHRIST-LIKE IN HONOR OF OUR CHRIST'S BIRTH.

It is my goal to get my fellow Christians to do exactly that this next year. Retailers need to learn to appreciate our financial contributions to their stores during OUR Christmas season~~until you do, you DON'T NEED MY MONEY.

Can't or Won't wish me a Merry Christmas, then I can't and won't spend my money with your business................. <<<

Well, I'm up for boycotting these retailers next year. I'm up for boycotting Christmas as a massive consumers' infomercial where the meaning is completely lost in the greedy gimmees.

How about the rest of you? Shall we send the Christmas-challenged retailers the BIG picture?

You can't have Christmas without Jesus and you can't have our money without a Merry Christmas.

Church Denominations Under Attack by Gay Activists

The State Baptist Convention of North Carolina, the largest religious organization in the state and the second largest in the nation, voted overwhelmingly at its annual convention to ask its board of directors to come up with a written policy that would purge from North Carolina Baptists' ranks any member church that "knowingly affirms, approves or endorses homosexual behavior." Such churches would not be considered "in friendly cooperation with the convention and sympathetic to its purposes and work.

Few sins in the Bible are described with the same harshness or urgency of language as homosexuality. [whether they, the homosexuals, can read or not...]

Genesis 18:20 refers to it as a sin that cries out to God in heaven.

Leviticus 18:22 says it is an "abomination."

Romans 1:26-27 describes it as "unnatural."

I Corinthians 6:19-20 declares that those who practice it will be barred from heaven.

In other words, the consequences of homosexual behavior can be considerably more grievous than some other sins. Homosexuality is unique in that it is especially abhorrent to God and constitutes a significantly perverse and wicked lifestyle that clearly shows that one is far removed from Him. [whether the homosexual believes it or not....]

Few sins have done more of late to wreak havoc among God's people as homosexuality. Mainline churches are being pulled apart over attempts by homosexual activists to redefine biblical sexual morality.

Battles are currently being fought in the Episcopal Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, American Baptists, United Methodists, Presbyterian Church (USA), and other denominations. [unfortunately, they are losing this WAR]

Interestingly, mainline churches that have taken a bold stand against liberal doctrine and the acceptance of homosexual sin are growing by leaps and bounds (Assemblies of God +377.1%, Southern Baptists +52.6%, Roman Catholics +45.4%).

Great denominations, however -- like the ones previously mentioned -- are significantly diminishing in memberships because of their liberal bent (Episcopalians -35.8%, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America -12.3%, Presbyterian Church (USA) -43.5%, American Baptists -6.9%, United Methodists -25.4%). [should listen to their congregants who are leaving as to WHY they are leaving...these people are instead joining the Southern Baptists, Assemblies of God and Roman Catholic denominations. They are conservatives, & Christians and are not willing to compromise for EVIL.]

North Carolina Baptists have essentially agreed that no member church should ever show sympathy to the homosexual agenda. In taking this courageous stand, Southern Baptists in the Tar Heel State have become a lighthouse illuminating the way for the great denominational ships of Zion in imminent danger of sinking in the "Graveyard of the Apostates." [way to go North Carolina!]

Reparative Therapy for homosexuals

"Reparative or reorientation therapy is designed to help men and women in conflict with their homosexuality attain the goal of reaching their heterosexual potential.

NARTH, National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality, comprises more than 1,000 therapists, sociologists, and psychoanalysts who believe homosexuality is not inborn and can be changed. An angry group of protesters...argued that reparative therapy is dangerous and encourages self-hatred in homosexuals.

One of the conference speakers, Exodus International president Alan Chambers, disagrees. 'I myself was a homosexual man 15 years ago,' he says, 'and for over a decade now, I have been leading a heterosexual life. And it wasn't about me hating myself; it was about me wanting something different than what I found myself struggling with.'

The fact that ex-homosexuals exist invalidates the notion that homosexuality is biologically determined. And at the same time, he contends, those homosexual activists and other individuals who deny that hundreds of thousands of men and women have found freedom from homosexuality are, in effect, invalidating their own messages calling for tolerance and respect.

Among the protesters denouncing the NARTH event was homosexual L.A. City Councilman Bill Rosendahl, a practicing Catholic. According to an ExGayWatch.com blog, Rosendahl called the group's research and methods 'unproven, unsafe and abusive,' and described its persistence in viewing homosexuality as a condition to be corrected as 'another form of rationalization for the continued persecution and prejudice against gay people.' [Unless he has participated in this therapy, how can he possibly "JUDGE" it?]

As countless people --Chambers included -- have demonstrated, same-sex desires can be overcome
with the help of Jesus Christ."

Leaving the Episcopal Church

...A Virginia congregation says it has withdrawn from the Episcopal Church USA. South Riding Church is the first congregation to leave the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia after two years of conflict over the consecration of an openly gay bishop in New Hampshire.

Rev. Phil Ashey says his church is now under the authority of the Anglican bishop of Uganda. The Episcopal Church is the U.S. branch of the worldwide Anglican church. But Episcopal Bishop Peter Lee of Virginia says he does not recognize South Riding's withdrawal. Lee says the bishop in Uganda has no authority in the Diocese of Virginia.

[Bishop Lee is going to FORCE this church to STAY when they believe that the Episcopal Diocese has sinned against God by their consecration of a gay bishop! Force NEVER works. I expect we are going to see a fight ensue from here in the courts.]

...The South Carolina Baptist Convention has endorsed a proposed state constitutional amendment banning same-sex "marriage." State law already prohibits homosexual marriage, but a constitutional amendment would prevent changes to the law in the future.

And just across the state's northern border, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina has voted to expel any church that "knowingly affirms, approves or endorses homosexual behavior." The vote was not unanimous.

Some delegates opposed the idea because they felt it showed a lack of respect for Baptist heritage, which values the autonomy of local churches. Others felt the decision focused too much attention on a single issue.

But the convention's outgoing president said Baptists must deal with homosexuality because "everything in our culture has pushed it to the forefront."

The nation's largest homosexual-rights group, the Human Rights Campaign, denounced the vote, declaring that churches "should focus on love and compassion, not finding ways to demean" their homosexual members.

[These Baptist Conventions are NOT demeaning homosexuals. They are standing up for their beliefs~~that God's Holy word is true and homosexuality is a sin. The church will accept a repentant homosexual but not one who is still a practicing homosexual. If you are a Bible believing church, you cannot do otherwise.

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Under Assault by Angry Parents

...The U.S. House of Representatives is calling on the full Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to rehear a controversial case involving a school sex survey. A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit caused a national outcry last month when it basically ruled that parents really do not have a right to intervene in what schools are teaching their children.

The case was prompted by an explicit sex survey handed to a group of students in Palmdale, California, some of them as young as seven years old. The anger over the panel's ruling reached the House this week when it passed a resolution urging the full court to rehear the case. H. Res. 547 -- which passed on a 320-91 vote -- states that the ruling "undermines the fundamental right of parents to direct the upbringing of their children" as well as the "firmly grounded" constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children. {Next, this "court" will say that parents who home-school or send their children to 'Christian' schools are abusers who need to be locked up.....better be ready, willing, and able to fight this one America!}

Mat Staver heads the conservative legal group Liberty Counsel. He calls the ruling "the worst assault on parental rights issued by any court." And Staver says his group will ask the full court to set aside the ruling -- and if necessary, he adds, Liberty Counsel is prepared to take the matter all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. H. Res. 547 was sponsored by Republican Congressman Tim Murphy of Pennsylvania. {Ummm, sponsors a bill that undermines parental authority AND he's a republican? What happened there? Can we say "VOTE for his opponent next election?}

"The head of a United Methodist renewal group says he's troubled that the denomination's bishops have unanimously declared that homosexuality is not a barrier to church membership in the United Methodist Church.

In a pastoral letter to the people of the United Methodist Church (UMC), the denomination's Council of Bishops -- which is made up of all active and retired UMC bishops -- affirmed that church membership is open to all people, including practicing homosexuals. According to the United Methodist News Service, the letter was adopted unanimously by the Council. The statement comes despite a recent ruling by the United Methodist Judicial Council -- the denomination's highest court -- which reinstated a conservative Virginia pastor who was suspended without pay for denying membership to an unrepentant homosexual. Pastor Jeff Switzer with the Mississippi Fellowship of United Methodist Evangelicals fears the bishops' letter leaves the door open for people to form their own impressions as to where the church stands. And while Switzer says church doors should be open to all individuals, he feels membership should not be given to individuals who are in active defiance of God's Word and the denomination's Book of Discipline."

As I have blogged before: The church should be a haven of forgiveness and healing for repentant homosexuals without compromising its stance against homosexual behavior.

Once you compromise, there is NO going back. To compromise ~~give up one's principals for expediency's sake~~with evil is to side with evil. In essence you are saying that what they do or believe is OK~~even though God has stated otherwise.

Some things are NOT worth compromising over~~such as your Soul.

OTC Abortion Drug Pushed by Politicians?

Concerned Women for America is denouncing efforts by politicians to pressure the Food and Drug Administration to approve a dangerous abortion drug and make it available over the counter [OTC], without a doctor's prescription. [Who is pushing the politicians?]

CWA spokeswoman Wendy Wright says drug companies and the abortion lobby must not be allowed to put their agenda and profits above women's health. She believes the so-called "morning-after pill" [wasn't this pill recently in the news as causing severe health issues or even death?] should not be approved, and her group has hired expert lawyers to tell the FDA why they cannot do it.

"They outline all the legal reasons and regulatory reasons why the FDA doesn't have the authority to do this kind of approval, and then also going into the medical reasons," Wright says. "If this drug's easily available, it will end up causing a public health catastrophe with sexually transmitted disease rates skyrocketing." [Abortion is not birth control~~condoms, the pill, abstinence are all birth control. Abortion is murder.]

Also, she contends, making this abortion drug easily available will allow sexual predators to cover up their abuse and will increase promiscuous behavior among young people who have been misled into thinking they can engage in risky sexual behavior without consequences. [With this drug as an OTC medication, ANYONE can just walk in and get it~~a teenage girl~~thereby, once AGAIN undermining parental authority and allowing for secret abortions. It's a SNEAKY way to push their agenda. But then, what's knew about that?]

Conservative spokesman Gary Bauer wonders if national leaders are paying attention. 'How many of these votes do we have to win by such lop-sided margins before Congress finds the political will to support the people’s values?' he asks. Bauer, chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, is a strong proponent of the need for a federal marriage amendment.

So why didn't the campaign of deception staged by advocates of same-sex marriage work? Bob Knight of the Culture and Family Institute attributes it to the common sense found in the people of Texas. 'Most Texans are down-to-earth folks,' Knight says, 'which is why the attempt to fool them into thinking a marriage protection amendment was actually a threat to marriage didn't wash.' 1) Proposition 2 will BAN ALL

Marriages. Their argument is if the
state is not allowed to recognize "any
legal status identical or similar to
marriage," then that means they can't
recognize marriage also.

Response: The Attorney General of Texas rejected a similar argument on the floor of the Senate, when opponents tried to argue that the Amendment would ban common-law marriage. The Amendment does NOT say the state may not recognize "marriage". It prohibits only attempts to create a status similar or identical "TO MARRIAGE." Other states, like California, have created copy-cats of marriage and just called it by a different name and thus avoided their constitutional marriage amendment passed by its people. The Texas Amendment does NOT allow this. The words clearly recognize marriage in Texas as between a man and a woman and refuse to recognize attempts to recreate that status through any other means.

2) They continue to falsely state that Proposition 2 will take away their benefits and hospital visitation.

Response: The specific language from the constitutional amendment (HJR 6, which was passed during the 79th regular session) is below, showing this to be completely untrue:

Section 2. This state recognizes that through the designation of guardians, the appointment of agents, and the use of private contracts, persons may adequately and properly appoint guardians and arrange rights relating to hospital visitation, property, and the entitlement to proceeds of life insurance policies without the existence of any legal status identical or similar to marriage.

A new survey of the 2.7-million-member National Education Association reveals that leaders of the powerful union are overwhelmingly liberal -- yet the rank and file reflects the political philosophies of the country at-large. [Conservative]

Mike Antonucci is director of the Education Intelligence Agency, a union watchdog group that analyzed the survey. He notes most conservative members are not very active in the union.

He also says the NEA is able to frame arguments that it holds in a way that it can make policies appear to be attacks on teachers. [Yes, the liberals are very good at this~~just look at their "twist" on the Texas proposition 2: that a vote FOR it will null ALL marriages in Texas~~which is blatantly false but frightens people.] As he puts it: "The best way {to get away with liberal policies} is to frame {them} in such a way as to make them relevant to the rank-and-file's expressed priority: security."

The main lesson is that the organization is not a "single-minded juggernaut"; the people at the oars are capable of changing direction if they could only see outside." [Or get INVOLVED!]

Texans should vote for Prop. 2 if they want to keep marriage only between one man and one woman -- and vote against it if they want the definition of marriage changed."

The battle in this country between those holding to traditional morality and those espousing hedonism has reached a fever pitch, manifested in no clearer terms than the ideological conflict over homosexuality. But forget about same-sex marriage, employment discrimination or AIDS funding. There may be no area of debate that causes blood pressures to escalate more rapidly than the question of whether public schools should teach children about homosexuality.[NO! An educator's job is to teach children to read, to add, and to write. They SHOULD be coming to school already with the firm knowledge of right and wrong; manners; and some self-control. These things should be taught by PARENTS; who should also be the ones to deal with "sex education" when the time is appropriate. If society continues to expect educators to raise their children then they cannot complain when their children's morality or lack thereof is evident; when their children's socialism or communism is evident. Because unfortunately, too many educators are Godless, heathens who live an hedonistic life. Many are also socialists or worse. Abraham Lincoln, who was NOT gay, said it best: The philosophy of a school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.]

Now the homosexual community has thrown down the gauntlet by unveiling a video entitled It’s Elementary: Talking About Gay Issues In School, and as its title implies, the video is aimed at the educational establishment.

The video is produced by Helen Cohen and Debra Chasnoff, the latter an Academy Award-winning documentary producer. In 1992 Chasnoff became the first woman to openly declare her lesbianism at the Oscars. [What a proud moment that was: declare your sexual preference on live tv~~WHO CARES....keep your sex life in your bedroom.]

The producers went into six elementary and middle schools where teachers and principals are already force-feeding children with pro-gay grist. The narrator says the educators allowed the filming “in the hope of inspiring other educators and parents to take the next step in their own school communities to teach children respect for all.”

The video was funded largely by the San Francisco-based Columbia Foundation, as well as People for the American Way, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, and the California Teacher Association’s Gay and Lesbian Caucus. The film also credits the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) with a hand in helping to fund the project.

It’s Elementary has picked up several awards, including the prestigious C.I.N.E. Golden Eagle for the Best Teacher Education Film of 1996.

Targeted to state departments of education and local school boards, the video has been screened in at least six states, and California Assemblywoman Sheila J. Kuehl, an open lesbian, said she intends to have it shown in all 50 states. [Unless, Christian parents stand up for their rights as parents and STOP this.]

The narrator’s voice calmly introduces the video while the camera pans over a playground full of children playing peacefully together at a public school. “Most adults probably don’t see why schools should teach young children about gay people,” the voice says. While that is no doubt true, it becomes clear in It’s Elementary that homosexual activists see why schools should teach about the gay lifestyle.

It is to capture the hearts and minds of the next generation. In fact, in an interview about the video with a Santa Fe newspaper, Chasnoff states candidly, “What’s clear in the film is that the younger the kids, the more open they were [easily influenced~~they have no discernment yet, that comes with maturity]....If we could start doing this kind of education in kindergarten, first grade, second grade, we’d have a better generation.” [Yes, they would be able to achieve their goals.....but kindergarteners and first and second graders do NOT need to know about sex yet. They deserve their care-free childhoods. Like the educators, these homosexual activists know that between the ages of 3-5 the personality is 'set'. So, it is crucial to "teach" this age group.]

Out of the mouths of babes

“Most adults probably don’t see ...” becomes the theme of this documentary, portraying the ignorance and bigotry of adults - including parents - as the fountainhead of homphobia. In contrast, pro-homosexual statements are heard coming from the mouths of children, shown as innocents who have thus far been uncontaminated by the backwater views of adults.

A student in one New York City school thinks even 5- and 6-year-olds should be given books about the homosexual lifestyle. If parents “freak out,” it’s only because they are “biased.” And a second grade boy in Cambridge, Mass., says an adult who is opposed to lesbianism is not very“open-minded,” and in fact is downright “prejudiced.” This theme supplies the rationale for It’s Elementary: keep the discussion of homosexuality out of the hands of ignorant parents, and place it in the hands of an enlightened public school system.

Circumventing parents

If a parent views homosexuality as wrong, what is the child to do with a contradictory message coming from another respected authority figure - the child’s teacher? A wedge has been driven between the child’s two worlds: home and school; doubt has been raised in the child’s mind about whether or not his/her parents are wrong.

What if a child simply accepts the teacher’s pro-gay view without question, and never raises the issue at home? The moral values of some parents have been effectively undermined by an authority figure at school, and homosexual advocates have won the initial skirmish in the war for the hearts and minds of a future generation.

Ellen Varella, principal of Peabody Elementary School in Cambridge, Mass., decided that her school would host a “photo-text exhibit” entitled, “Love Makes a Family: Living in Lesbian and Gay Families.” She said she anticipated no controversy, because the school community was a “very open and embracing and nurturing community.”

The decision did result in controversy, however, presumably among the closed-minded, non-nurturing types. When a friend warned her that she could lose her job over the exhibit, Varella was unfazed. “I felt strongly that the children in this community needed to be educated around this topic,” she said.

Perhaps one of the most shocking statements in It’s Elementary came from Thomas Price, principal of Cambridge Friends School in Cambridge, Mass. “I don’t think that it’s appropriate that values only be taught at home,” he said. “There are social values as well, there are community values.” And apparently those critical community values include this one: homosexuality is good.

Enlightened white knights of the public schools

The underlying belief of these social architects is that parents cannot be trusted to convey the truth about homosexuality to their children. The intervention of the public schools is necessary. At a faculty meeting at Cambridge Friends School, the teachers are discussing the results of their fourth annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Day. One teacher admits, “I think that we are asking kids to believe that (the homosexual lifestyle) is right....[W]e’re educating them, and this is part of what we consider to be a healthy education,” (emphasis added).

Some go beyond mere recommendation of advocacy. Take for example George Sloan, principal at Luther Burbank Middle School in San Francisco. Sloan said he believed that learning under a pro-homosexual curricula “should be mandatory” for all students.

At the Manhattan Country School in New York City, eighth grade English teacher Carol O’Donnell listens as one student complains that she is confused about the issue of homosexuality, because her family tells her its wrong.

Another student agrees that kids hear different things from different places. The solution?
“[S]chool needs to give us all the facts, so we can decide on our own what to think and what to do.” Some parents might be disturbed to know that their voice has been relegated to the status of being one among many. Yet it is the opinion promulgated in It’s Elementary that, when conflicting voices sow confusion, the public school system can intervene with the facts so the children can decide for themselves. [This reminds of that stupid argument that parents won't take their children to church so when they are grown up they can decide for themselves HOW they want to worship. Well DUH, when they grow up they are NOT going to worship at all. Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." Well, I guess the homosexual activists have learned this quite well......]

But are they given the facts? And are they really deciding for themselves? [They think they are.....not realizing they have been manipulated to think that way.]

“There’s no right or wrong answer...” [This is moral relativity: what is good or evil is in the eye of the beholder ~~not pre-determined. But for society to survive, there MUST be an established set of standards like....the Ten Commandments.]

The introduction to the video tries to calm parental fears, by assuring them that the pro-gay curricula in schools will only be presented in “an age-appropriate way.” This translates very simply: rather than discussing sexual practices and sexually-transmitted diseases, the teachers will frame the issue as a discussion about tolerance [political correctness = anathema to Christians] and civil rights.

In New York City’s Public School 87, fourth-grade teacher Cora Sangree is reminding her students of a previous assignment, when she told them to paint whatever came to mind when she said the word, “Indian.” Now, she tells her children, they are to write whatever comes to mind when she says the word “lesbian” and “gay.”

One student asks, “So nothing’s right or wrong in this either?” "That’s right,” Sangree replies, “There’s no right or wrong answer.”

Those words play well to the casual observer of It’s Elementary. But a more critical examination of the video shows teachers’ subtle but powerful manipulation of the children to draw the desired conclusion.

In Kate Lyman’s first/second grade class the students often do “class books,” put together by the students themselves. On this day, Lyman shows the class their latest finished project, entitled, “Everybody is Equal: A Book About Gays and Lesbians.” The computer-generated introduction to their book says, in part, “We made this book to tell people to respect gay and lesbian people...” The teacher thus established the parameters of acceptable viewpoints in advance of the project: if you don’t think homosexuality is “equal” to heterosexuality, you don’t “respect” gay people.

At one school assembly celebrating Gay and Lesbian Pride Day, a teacher stands before the students and tells them he’s gay. Another teacher tearfully tells the children how proud she is of what they are doing, and encourages them to change the world with what they’ve learned.

At the beginning of It’s Elementary, the narrator explained, “We made this film to explore what does happen when experienced teachers talk about lesbians and gay men with their students.” What happens is clear. The sight of teachers standing before the entire school body in support of homosexuality has a coercive influence upon children that is frightening. Later Sangree, alone with the camera, discusses her observations about the day’s teaching session. The children, she says, are getting a lot of “misinformation” about homosexuals - not only from the culture, but also parents. And, she says, apparently to defuse potential protests, the curricula does not talk about sex. That, she says, would be inappropriate.

Instead, the school is merely attempting to eliminate “stereotypes” and promote respect.
“[T]alking about people in different communities, and biases and discrimination and how that affects people’s lives,” Sangree said, “I think is appropriate.”

Here, finally, we discover that there is indeed a right and wrong answer after all.

Stacking the deck

If some of the teachers do not explicitly say that people are wrong when they oppose homosexuality, they do so implicitly. The words “gays and lesbians” are circled on the chalkboard in the third-grade class of teacher Daithi Wolfe, at Hawthorne Elementary School in Madison, Wisconsin. Then, as he begins to write down the words that students associate with homosexuality, a curious pattern develops. Any negative words offered by students about homosexuals are placed on the right side of his circle: “Homophobia.” “Discrimination.” “Name-calling.” “Weird.” And, of course, “Nazis” and “Hitler.”

But on the left side of the board - apparently the side with the “right” words - are “pink triangle,” “rainbow necklace,” “same (as real people),” and “equal rights.” Such blatant manipulation might not work on adults, but it is clearly effective on children. Kim Coates, an eighth grade health science teacher at Luther Burbank Middle School in San Francisco, invited two homosexuals to address her class. One of the speakers, a lesbian, starts off telling the students that she didn’t come to school to recruit kids into the homosexual lifestyle. Instead, she admits that she came to change their minds about gays. While they may have come to school thinking homosexuals are evil, she hoped they would leave thinking that “gay people are just like me.” And she accomplishes her goal. After the class, some of the students are interviewed, and they admit that the two speakers have changed the way they view homosexuality.

Christians are the enemies of homosexuals

When It’s Elementary is not pointing the finger at bigoted parents in general, it zeroes in on Christians in particular: the Christian view of homosexuality is highlighted as an example of outrageous bigotry. In one sequence of clips from TV talks shows, two apparent Christians present the view of their faith. One says, “God hates fags.” The other: “The Bible that I read says homosexuals should be put to death.” [Oh yeah, once again those liberal media pundits chose a great representation of Christians....is it just me, or do they ALWAYS choose the most extreme example of our faith? They would never do this to the Islamic religion~~~which I guess makes the liberal media, BIGOTS themselves.]

Later, a fifth-grade boy observes, “Some Christians believe that if you’re gay or lesbian that you’ll go to hell, so they want to torture them.” This skewed view of Christianity is no accident. Chasnoff has said that the film was made, in part, to counter the “hysteria of the Religious Right.” But not all religious views of homosexuality are ridiculed in the video. What, for example, is the theological position of Thomas Price, principal of Cambridge Friends School? “We really believe that there’s God in every person, and those people include homosexuals, too,” he says.

In a twist that is positively evil, the children at one Gay and Lesbian Pride Day school assembly are led by a platoon of teachers in singing, “This Little Light of Mine.”

If there was any doubt remaining, the moral worldview of the pro-homosexual curricula surveyed in It’s Elementary is clarified by one teacher in Cambridge.

After saying that students must be taught that all lifestyles are equal, she says, “There isn’t a right way, there isn’t a wrong way; there isn’t a good way, there isn’t a bad way. The way that it is, is what it is.”

Homosexual advocates have realized that their greatest potential for changing America’s mind about the gay lifestyle lies in changing the seed for tomorrow’s crop. Varella, in fact, said she allowed her school’s photo-text exhibit in the hope that it would contribute to “improving our civilization,” because children are the “leaders of tomorrow.” With efforts like It’s Elementary, homosexuals are well on their way to deciding what that tomorrow will look like.

Remember back in the early 90 's, one of the MAJOR national news stations came on with the report that homosexuality was a "genetic" trait inherited from mothers? We were all treated to a 1 minute "dissertation" of why this was true.

As if anyone in the media had the intelligence to even write a dissertation, much less be able to present one in ONE MINUTE......nor do the majority of these English majors have the intelligence to understand the complex science behind any research. (This is why they have a Bachelor of ARTS degree rather than a Bachelor of SCIENCE degree. They were avoiding those "tough" science curriculums.) The media have supported the homosexual activists and agenda since the beginning. This is why we have been given such a distorted representation of the scientific facts. They reported what they wanted TO BE TRUE.

Science published an article in 1994 that included the following statement:
Time and time again, scientists have claimed that particular genes or chromosomal regions are associated with behavioral traits, only to withdraw their findings when they were not replicated. 'Unfortunately,' says Yale's [Dr. Joel] Gelernter, 'it's hard to come up with many' findings linking specific genes to complex human behaviors that have been replicated. 'All were announced with great fanfare; all were greeted unskeptically in the popular press; all are now in disrepute.'

Dr. Robert Spitzer, one of the men who helped change the American Psychiatric Association's opinion on homosexuality as a mental disorder in 1973, acknowledged that homosexuals can become heterosexual. A woman whose sister was a lesbian had a 6 percent chance of also being a lesbian. Astonishingly, the daughter of a lesbian had a 33 percent chance of being a lesbian. This result is genetically impossible. A mother and her child cannot be more genetically similar than two sisters. "But the pattern we observed could mean only one thing: being a lesbian, or a nonheterosexual woman, was 'culturally transmitted,' not inherited," Hamer wrote. from: Angela M.L. I have never supported this thought that people are born "gay". I think it is an easy "justification" for a lifestyle choice. I am not alone in this belief. Oddly enough, since the "gay gene" is supposedly linked through the mother, it gives heterosexual daddies an easy out to blame mom for their effeminate son's proclivities. Now, it is time to quit blaming mom!

Homosexuality is a behavior. Behaviors are a CHOICE of action we pursue. It is called FREE WILL!

It does come with consequences. Today, no one likes to hear that their actions bring CONSEQUENCES.

But the truth is, EVERY action we take has consequences. Some will have good consequences. Some will have bad ones. This is how we learn from our mistakes. It is how we grow. Hopefully, at some point, we will learn to think ahead what those consequences COULD be for a particular action. This is called MATURITY.

Accepting the consequences for our choices in life can be a bitter pill to swallow. Or can be a crowning glory. The choice is ours....

The thief whose only regret is getting caught, has not yet obtained maturity. Perhaps he never will~~many in our society have NOT grown up. The world still revolves around them and they are self-centered and selfish. Most of the homosexual activists fall into this category. Simply because, their wants and needs, their desires MUST come first over everyone else's~~including our easily influenced and manipulated young people.

The thief who realizes that what he did was morally wrong, harmed others, and is repentant has obtained maturity.

This is one major reason the homosexual activists do NOT want the gay gene gone~~they do not want to be repentant. As long as it is an heredity issue, then they are no longer RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. They cannot be held accountable. They cannot be damned.

Only none of us can mold God. Our image of God does NOT change who God is. His word is very clear on "issues". Sure, the homosexual can try to argue with the creator of the universe how He messed up and created a homosexual gene causing this little homosexual homo-sapien to be what he was in life and therefore cannot condemn him to hell as a result. Ummm, that is one argument that might be interesting to see.

Only it will never happen. Judgment day when it comes has NO attorney representation and no appeals. IT IS FINAL. Whether you believe it or not, it will BE FAIR.

Sinners on their judgment day will reap what they have EARNED. As will the saints on their judgment day.

This is why churches who do not correct sinners in their midst~~including the homosexual, either as a congregant or especially as a spiritual leader~~are in serious danger. They may be "prophesying" in Jesus's name; they may be spreading the good news of Jesus and His salvation; they may be truly earnest for the Lord~~they will still be told "I never knew you. Go away; the things you did were unauthorized." Matthew 7:22-23 These churhes, these believers can talk a good talk, but know nothing of walking the walk.

This doesn't mean we are to ban the homosexual from church when he is seeking God. But once salvation is accepted our old sinful natures are buried and we are resurrected. That is what baptism symbolizes. The Holy Spirit will convict your spirit to STOP your sinning~~including the sin of homosexuality. It is when they refuse to stop practicing homosexuality, that the church and the congregants must then ban the homosexual from within their midst as they would any sinner.

Recently, American Baptist Churches have taken a positive stance on the issue of homosexuality. The Pacific Southwest churches broke from the American Baptists because of this. The West Virginia Baptists however, recently voted to stay WITH the American Baptists~~even though they believe the homosexual lifestyle and the ordination of homosexuals goes against their Biblical teaching. While it is sad to see churches splinter like this. It is NOT the end of the world when it happens. God can handle it! I believe the West Virginia Baptists have made a mistake by aligning themselves with those who are practicing tolerance or political correctness in regards to the homosexual agenda.

I think God too would prefer to see His chosen separate themselves from those who allow evil within their midst.

Some may be thinking that evil is a rather harsh description of the situation. Yet the very definition of evil is: 1a) morally bad or wrong; wicked; depraved b) resulting from or based on conduct regarded as immoral 2) causing pain or trouble; harmful, injurious 3) offensive or disgusting.

So no, EVIL is NOT a harsh description. It is an ACCURATE one.

Teachers are held more accountable than the rest of the population. What is a pastor, preacher, rabbi? They are TEACHERS!

James 3:1 “Dear Brothers and Sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged by God with greater strictness.”

Allowing a homosexual to become ordained is to allow them to perpetuate the evil that their life has embraced. They will be judged more strictly for this.

BUT the church members who allow it to continue will also be judged for this.

1. Proverbs 29:1 “Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be broken beyond repair.”

2. Galatians 6:1 “Dear Brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be CAREFUL NOT TO FALL INTO THE SAME TEMPTATION YOURSELF.”

3. 2 Corinthians 7: 9-10 “Now I am glad I sent it (a letter), not because it hurt you, but because the pain caused you to have remorse and change your ways. It was the kind of sorrow God wants his people to have, so you were not harmed by us in any way. For God can use sorrow in our lives to help us turn away from sin and seek salvation. We will never regret that kind of sorrow. But sorrow WITHOUT repentance is the kind that results in death.”

4. 1 Corinthians 5: 12 “It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your job to judge those inside the church who are sinning in these ways. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, ‘You must remove the evil person from among you.’”

5. 1 Corinthians 5:1-2 “I can hardly believe the report about the sexual immorality going on among you, something so evil that even the pagans don’t do it….And you are so proud of yourselves! Why aren’t you mourning in sorrow and shame? And why haven’t you removed this man from your fellowship?”

There is a monthly newsletter for those churches who consider themselves an “Association of welcoming and affirming Baptists” called the Associational. This is their vision statement:

“We envision that the day may speedily come within Baptist Churches when no one shall feel excluded from God’s love in Jesus Christ because of their sexual orientation.”

Their belief: Ten years ago, after the lgbt [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] community had been dealt yet another blow by members of their denomination, a group of American Baptist pastors decided that it was time to stand up and declare their affirmation of glbt people.

We know that much abuse of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons has been fostered and encouraged by the rhetoric of the church, leaving many people feeling that they must choose between their faith and their sexuality.”

Yes, that is exactly what these lgbt people MUST do.
They can be gay OR they can repent and be a child of God.

They CANNOT be both.

Here are the reasons why.....

Homosexuality is as old as mankind. Genesis 19: 4b-5 “…all the men of Sodom, young and old, came from all over the city and surrounded the house. They shouted to Lot, ‘Where are the men who came to spend the night with you? Bring them out so we can have sex with them.’”

You know, if God doesn’t destroy America, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. But since God is righteous and the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah deserved their punishment; then, Americans better prepare.

Leviticus 18: 22 “Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestable sin.
This chapter actually lists other detestable sins as well: having sex with animals~~bestiality; sacrificing children; incest; and adultery.

Deuteronomy 23:17-18 "No Israelite man or woman may ever become a temple prostitute. Do not bring the the house of the Lord your God any offering from the earnings of a prostitute, whether a man or a woman, for both are detestable to the Lord your God."

Romans 1:24-32 "So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. When they refused to acknowledge God, He abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too."

God is pretty clear here. For homosexuals, or anyone, to make the false claim that God never mentions homosexuality is just plain stupid. They don't want to be told that they are sinners. So, they believe satan's lies concerning homosexuality. And God lets them. People tend to believe lies that reinforce their own selfish, personal beliefs. He lets us choose freedom from Him~~free will~~even when He knows in time we will become slaves to our sins. Does life without God look like freedom to you? Look again more closely. There is no worse slavery than the bonds of sin's slavery.

1 Corinthians 6:9-20 "Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers--none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God. There was a time when some of you were jsut like that, but now your sins have been washed away, and you have been set apart for God. You have been made right with God because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you. You may say, 'I am allowed to do anything.' But I reply, 'Not everything is good for you.' And even though 'I am allowed to do anything,' I must not become a slave to anything. You say, 'Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food.' This is true, though someday God will do away with both of them. But our bodies were not made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies. And God will raise our bodies from the dead by his marvelous power, jsut as he raised our Lord from the dead. Don't you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which belongs to Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! And don't you know that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the scriptures say, 'The two are united into one.' But the person who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Run away from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Or don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God BOUGHT you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body."

Once again, God is very clear on His expectations of us in regards to our sexuality. For those whose spirits are NOT convicted that their sexual sin IS sin, then they ARE NOT saved and the Holy Spirit is NOT residing within them.

1 Timothy 1:10 "These laws are for people who are sexually immoral, for homosexuals and slave traders, for liars and oath breakers, and for those who do anything else that contradicts the right teaching that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God."

Today with so many influences, it is vital for us to KNOW what the basis is for our beliefs. Music, movies, television, the media, all present sinful life-styles and unwholesome values that are totally opposed to the Bible. We find ourselves bombarded with it and therefore, must take care that they do NOT form our opinions. The Bible is the ONLY standard of truth~~we need to evaluate all other opinions in light of its teaching.

There are those out there who will take exception to the last few statements. To them, any religion is worthy, any truth is acceptable. To them truth is "relative"~~ or not absolute.

Yet, no other religion has God coming and dying for their sins. No other religion's god loves them enough to be humiliatingly crucified. No, their gods have them jumping through hoops~~living many lifetimes, until the poor soul FINALLY gets it right.

Well, I'll take my God anyday. All He expects of me is to accept His free gift of salvation and then to strive to live like His son. Even though I am going to fall short every single day of my life doing this, He knows my repentant heart and forgives me! That is a GOD!

The Barna group does research and provides analysis of cultural trends and the Christian church. Recently, they discovered that most Americans consider themselves Christians but only "6 out of 10 (60%) of evangelicals rely on the Bible as their main source of moral counsel. Only 2 out of 10 (20%) of non-evangelical born again Christians do the same."

There seems to be a problem with the view~~world view vs. Biblical worldview. Barna has been emphasizing the need for churches to help their members develop a "biblical worldview."

"The organization defines such a life perspective on the basis of several questions about religious beliefs. The definition requires someone to believe

that absolute moral truth exists;
that the source of moral truth is the Bible;
that the Bible is accurate in all of the principles it teaches;
that eternal spiritual salvation cannot be earned;
that Jesus lived a sinless life on earth;
that every person has a responsibility to share their religious beliefs with others;
that Satan is a living force, not just a symbol of evil;
and that God is the all-knowing, all-powerful maker of the universe who still rules creation today.

In previous studies, Barna research demonstrated how a biblical worldview radically alters a person's lifestyle choices, causing them to reject matters like cohabitation, drunkenness, gay sex, profanity, pornography, adultery, gambling and abortion."

According to Barna only 5% of adults have a Biblical worldview! I believe when we are bombarded with a world view, it appears reseasonable and starts to become acceptable. Case in point: Hollywoods inclusion of the "obligatory" gay in every movie in recent years. When we see something often enough, it becomes TRUTH. But whose truth? Is it a world view, or a Biblical world view?

Barna then goes on to statistically break it down: 1/2 of all evangelicals have a Biblical worldview. 8% of Protestants do; >1/2 of 1% of Catholics do! This is disturbing. But what is even more disturbing is that the other 88% of the people in the world without a Biblical world view think God is accepting of them.

The church is failing in our great commission to go be fishers of men. We WILL be held accountable for this.

Rev. Creech then shares a marvelous, timely quote: "These amazing statistics remind me of a phrase Dietrich Bonhoeffer coined to address the self-delusion of Lutheran Church members in Germany in his day. In The Cost of Discipleship, Bonohoeffer spoke of those who had only experienced 'cheap grace.'

He defined cheap grace as :

'the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism without church discipline, communion without confession, absolution without personal confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ, living and incarnate.' "

This is what any church who allows unrepentant homosexuals into their congregation or their pulpit is GUILTY OF~~CHEAP GRACE.

The homosexual CAN choose life. He/she CAN leave this sinful life. Their lives can be transformed. All things are possible through Christ Jesus.

The church should be a haven of forgiveness and healing for repentant homosexuals without compromising its stance against homosexual behavior.

The Agenda of the Pornographer

Americans have become such easily led......sheep.

Come up with some sort of reasonable explanation, repeat it often enough and

Wal-la!

It has become FACT....TRUTH....THE ACCEPTED NORM....

This is what has happened to pornography. What once was viewed in darkened theaters or sleazy joints has graduated to the posh and glamorous halls of Las Vegas, Atlantic City, your prime-time television.

Your pornographer has been working overtime to convince you that pornography is an "art" form; it is freedom of speech; it is NOT harmful to anyone.

These are ALL lies. Just as Julia Sugarbaker stated in Designing Women: "I may not be able to define pornography, but I sure know it when I see it." ~~in the episode where she kept running down the newstands cardboard cut-out of a scantily clad women wearing a dog collar.

In Pamela Paul's book, "Pornified: How Pornography Is Transforming Our Lives, Our Relationships, and Our Families" she discusses how pornography has changed American life for the worse. In surveys and research, she found that most respondants cited only negatives from the viewing of pornography.

To most Christians this is one of those "well, duh" moments! But for many Americans, they have bought the entire store and not just the bill of goods in regards to pornography. In fact, even though many Americans consider themselves "Christians" they have allowed themselves to become addicted to pornography. These people cannot see the harm of pornography until it is too late. When families are broken and irreparable. When marriages have broken up. When children are in therapy because of a negative view on sex or worse....

Pornography harms men. Men are NOT geared to viewing it, just as they are not geared to sexual promiscuity~~that's just the lie they tell themselves~~to justify this behavior. Once addiction to pornography has taken hold, they are not able to control it~~it controls them. It becomes an obsession. They view women differently and this will have a negative impact on their relationships; in fact, they develop trust and loyalty issues. Pornography takes their focus off their partner [should read wife] and detracts from their own sexual skills.

Pornography harms women. It demeans them. It encourages men to continue to treat them as second class citizens. It is harmful to their marriages, their children, their family. For those who appear in pornography it is harmful to their self-esteem.

Pornography harms children. When children are victims of the pornographer (pedophile), it destroys their innocence, their childhood, their very lives. When children view pornography, they get a warped sense of what sex is~~or should be. The long term damage is yet unknown.

Of course this is one reason the homosexual movement targets the young~~and utilizes pornography to entice, and encourage experimentation with their sexuality.

No matter their age~~very young to adolescence~~ these children are growing up too fast.

They are being deprived of their childhoods~~which should be a time of care-free, innocence and HAPPINESS.

In fact, someday, these same children will be on the future Oprah's and Sally's and Phil's demanding explanations, apologies, perhaps even ACCOUNTABILITY!

Pornography is an addiction. It has associated with it ~~the demon of lust. Which in generations past, was acknowleged as one of the seven deadly sins. Many today scoff at the thought of demons or satan. Just because you don't believe in them, doesn't mean they don't believe in YOU!

Al Pacino's Satan character in "The Devil's Advocate" had it figured correctly~~it has been satan's greatest achievement to convince 'modern' man that he doesn't exist! How easily then to lead mankind astray; to convince him there are no consequences to his actions~~when in fact there are serious ones.

Morality plays use to be big in this country. Our young people of today have no idea what a morality play is. But there was a time when Americans heeded the warnings of these. It was a way to 'experience' the lifestyle~~problem~~ and see the consequences vicariously.

I think, we should all re-experience some of these morality plays if for no other reason than to remind ourselves that there are CONSEQUENCES TO EVERY ACTION WE TAKE IN LIFE.

Some of the absolute best morality plays: ANY Twilight Zone episode; Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde; Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Modern ones: The Lord of the Rings trilogy~~it's about GOOD vs. EVIL! The Narnia Chronicles by C.S. Lewis; Jurassic Park~Just because we CAN do a thing (scientifically) doesn't mean we always SHOULD do a thing!; the aforementioned "The Devil's Advocate" (**this one does have strong language and sexual content--Pacino's speech near the end is worth it in order to understand satan's agenda~~yes, the devil does have his own agenda as well! It's ~~~ YOU.)

The authors of these works knew human nature~~which unfortunately, hasn't changed in millenia! Proof: try reading the.....Bible!

Pornography exists to make someone MONEY. Your family, your life is in a shambles, but the pornographer doesn't care. He was ALWAYS in it for the MONEY.

So, America, the question is....are you going to continue to be sheep? Or are you going to grow up and think about the consequences to your actions BEFORE you take those actions?

It is the mature person who can see the long-term effects, the consequences, to those actions. It is the selfish, self-centered, immature individual (child) who cannot or refuses to see them.

No, Pornography is NOT normal;

it is NOT hip and

it is NOT harmless.

ACLU vs. Abstinence Education

The ACLU, the American Civil Liberties Union, (or as Brad Locke has so appropriately renamed them: the Anti-Christian Liberties Union) is AGAINST abstinence programs.

One has to wonder why? They are working! "Since approval of abstinence programs, however,...the national teen pregnancy rate has fallen as much as 22 percent."

Who then would be against teenagers having babies? (Or acquiring STD's for that matter?)

The ACLU for one. They have started a "...nationwide campaign to protect what it calls 'reproductive freedom' -- liberal buzz words typically referring to 'abortion on demand...'"

The ACLU has written to the governors of each of the states that offer abstinence only education requesting that they get rid of this "dangerous" and "ineffective" curriculum. One has to wonder, dangerous to whom? According to the ACLU, it is dangerous to the youth because it does not address STD's.

I know this is kind of a DUH reasoning but....if young people ABSTAIN FROM SEX then, duh, they are NOT in danger of becoming infected!

I KNOW that STD's are presented in the required health classes all high schoolers are REQUIRED to take to graduate. No, more likely it is dangerous to the "gay" community as it seriously depletes their access to young, healthy, people to fornicate with.

What the ACLU seems to have forgotten OR IS COVERING UP is that the gay community has MORE STD's than the general population. 60% of all syphilis cases occurred in gay males in 2003. Centers for Disease Control

Despite the fact that stds are
extremely widespread, have severe and sometimes
deadly consequences, and add billions of dollars to the
nation's healthcare costs each year, most people in the
United States remain unaware of the risks and consequences of all but the most prominent std's the human immunodeficiency virus or hiv.

Americans are still not aware of this!?!?! How is this possible in today's "information-overdriven" age?

Here it is then: There are consequences to a promiscuous lifestyle.

Fortunately abstinence-only education IS making our young people aware of this.

Researchers have seen alarming indications that
gonorrhea may be on the rise among gay and
bisexual men who have sex with men.
(msm). In the mid-1980s, reports of increased
condom use and reduced risky sexual practices
accompanied dramatic decreases in rectal gonorrhea
among msm in several cities (Fox, cdc,
1998).Yet, data from cities throughout the country
suggest that this trend may be reversing, and
that gonorrhea cases may be resurging with the
prospect of facilitating the spread of hiv in the
gay community.
In San Francisco, the incidence of rectal gonorrhea
in males increased from 21 cases per
100,000 population in 1994 to 38 cases per
100,000 population in 1997.
This rise in gonorrhea rates should serve as a wake-up call to all people at risk-including gay and bisexual men-that high risk sexual behaviors continue to have very real consequences. Statistics

Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council says the ACLU is basically threatening to sue governors who would prefer to challenge teenagers to remain abstinent. However, he has promised that the Alliance Defense Fund will defend those governors and states the ACLU comes after.

"They [The governors] should help young people understand the grave risks of pre-marital sexual activity," he says. "They should warn youth of the ineffectiveness of condoms in preventing the spread of many sexually transmitted diseases.

In short, these governors should reply to the ACLU: "Yes, In My State!'"

Is this really what we WANT FOR OUR CHILDREN?

Nope, the ACLU agenda is to gain control of YOUR children~~whereby they can present them to the "gay" community. They KNOW, the younger they can get them into the gay lifestyle, the more likely these young people will stay gay~~~Or have NO choice but to remain so because of their "infections."

Makes you wonder WHO exactly is in charge of the ACLU? What is their membership made up of? Sounds like homosexual activists....

Talk about throwing lambs to the wolves.......

...A Christian leader in Washington is angry over the American Civil Liberties Union's decision to sue one of the most impoverished school districts in the U.S. in order to be reimbursed for court costs. National Clergy Council director Rob Schenck notes that the ACLU, after winning a Ten Commandments case in Adams County, Ohio, did not stop there. Outraged, he says, "The ACLU went back to court and sued again, demanding that the school district in one of the poorest counties in Ohio -- where there is almost a nine percent unemployment rate and 17 percent of the people live under the poverty line, made up mostly of farmers, retirees, and laborers -- that this school district which is cash-strapped pay the ACLU's legal bills." The liberal civil liberties organization won that lawsuit as well, and was awarded $80,000. Schenck calls the action "obscene," especially since the ACLU took in more than $150 million in contributions last year and has an investment fund of $180 million.

In Defense of Homophobia

Homophobia is the moral judgement that homosexual behavior (most of the arguments in this essay refer specifically to male homosexual behavior) is wrong. Homophobia is not like ethnic, racial or religious prejudice, which deny the intrinsic moral rights and value of other people. Rather, it is a moral judgement upon acts engaged in by choice.

If you are religious, you probably agree with the homophobic position, because most major religions make this moral judgement. The Jewish and Christian Bible describes homosexual activity, in most English translations, as an "abomination''. This condemnation is found in the Book of Leviticus, along with condemnations of incest and bestiality. Unlike homosexuality, there has been no organized effort to win approval for those sexual sins, which are condemned by almost everyone. The same word is used to condemn moving boundary markers, a grievous sin in an agricultural society.

If you are a rationalist, you ask for logical explanation, beyond the word of the Bible, and beyond the revulsion which most people feel. Why have most cultures adopted this attitude? The rationalist does not accept any book as the word of God, but regards it as the embodiment of traditional wisdom. He cannot reject it out of hand; he must ask why traditional wisdom came to this conclusion.

Recent medical history provides a convincing argument. HIV, the virus which causes AIDS, has been present, and occasionally found in the human population, for about half a century (a few sporadic AIDS cases have been identified as far back as the 1950's, or even earlier). Yet they were quite rare; the modern AIDS epidemic began suddenly about 1980. Its first victims were promiscuous homosexual males; it was initially called "Gay-Related Immune Deficiency''.

In America attitudes towards homosexuality changed in the 1970's [I remember this]. It went from a private, furtively practiced [wish it still was], vice to an open and accepted subculture. In many circles, "sodomite'' ceased to be an insult. This acceptance led to the toleration, and wide practice, of gross homosexual promiscuity. HIV, falling onto that fertile soil, made the AIDS epidemic. Even before AIDS was recognized, practicing homosexuals were notorious for a high rate of venereal diseases.

The religious believer may see the hand of God, but both he and the rationalist must see a fact of Nature. The human body was not designed to share hypodermic needles, it was not designed to be promiscuous, and it was not designed to engage in homosexual acts. Engaging in such behavior is like riding a motorcycle on an icy road without a helmet. It may be possible to get away with it for a while, and a few misguided souls may get a thrill out of doing so, but sooner or later (probably sooner) the consequences will be catastrophic. Lethal diseases spread rapidly among people who do such things.

Unfortunately, the victims are not only those whose reckless behavior brought death on themselves. There are many completely innocent victims, too: hemophiliacs (a substantial fraction died as a result of contaminated clotting factor), recipients of contaminated transfusions, and their spouses and children, for AIDS can be transmitted heterosexually (in America, only infrequently) and congenitally. The icy road was lined with unsuspecting innocents, who never chose to ride a motorcycle. Guilt for their deaths is on the hands of the homosexuals and intravenous drug abusers who poisoned the blood supply. These people died so the sodomites could feel good about themselves.

At present, HIV testing has reduced the risk of infection by transfusion almost (but not exactly) to zero. However, should a new lethal blood-borne virus arise, it will not be detected, and a test developed, until thousands of people have been infected. Experience with HIV shows that the environments of homosexual promiscuity and intravenous drug abuse can readily turn a single infection into an epidemic.

The homophobe does not engage in violence against homosexuals. Repelled, he stays away from them. Homophobes are divided on the wisdom of laws against homosexual acts. Some believe laws are a good way to reduce their frequency and damaging consequences. Others, probably the majority, believe that outlawing these acts is futile, just as outlawing drug abuse may be futile, and that laws may lead to destructive witch-hunts. These homophobes believe the best approach is moral condemnation, which is the approach our society now applies to many other destructive practices, such as adultery, alcohol and tobacco abuse, and suicide. Moral condemnation will not extirpate them, but neither can the law; a climate of disapproval may reduce their frequency and their harm.

What of those cursed with unnatural sexual desires? Must they forever suppress these desires? Yes, but this is hardly a unique fate. Almost everyone has desires which must be suppressed. Most men and women think adulterous thoughts fairly often, and find themselves attracted to members of the opposite sex to whom they are not married. Morality requires them to suppress these desires, and most do not commit adultery, though they feel lust in their hearts. Almost everyone, at one time or another, covets another's property. They do not steal. Many people feel great anger or intense hatred at some time in their lives. They do not kill.

I am a homophobe, and proud.

Post-Script October 17, 2003: The homosexual movement is now campaigning against blood drives, because blood banks do not accept blood from men who have engaged in homosexual acts. This is "discrimination'', the campaigners say (see, for example, Washington University Student Life October 17, 2003).

Of course it is discrimination; the blood banks are discriminating against blood at risk of contamination with HIV, which would give the recipients the fatal disease AIDS. Intravenous drug abusers are also rejected as donors, for the same reason. People who have lived in the United Kingdom are now rejected because they are at (much lesser) risk for CJD. Some discrimination is wrong. Racial discrimination, for example, is almost invariably unethical (and generally illegal) because race is unrelated to the ability to do a job, study, fulfill a contract, or almost any other activity of daily life.

Some discrimination, however, is both justified and necessary. For example, it is quite appropriate for a basketball team to discriminate among applicants on the basis of height, agility and stamina, for a prospective patient to discriminate among doctors on the basis of their academic qualifications and past record of practice, and for a blood bank to discriminate among prospective donors on the basis of the statistical risk that their blood is contaminated with infectious diseases.

In order to satisfy their demand for full acceptance by society, the homosexual movement demands to kill some transfusion recipients by infecting them with AIDS, or to kill patients who need transfusions by making it impossible for blood banks to collect blood. Or, perhaps, this was just a joke. But I think not.

Post-Script October 9, 2005: In recent weeks this essay has been the subject of controversy at, and even beyond, Washington University (see, for example, recent issues of Student Life).

A number of critics have asked if monogamous homosexuals are also culpable. Quite apart from the question of the definition of monogamous (sexual contact with only one person in a lifetime? serial monogamy? some cheating? etc.), I suggest the following analogy: A man joins the Ku Klux Klan. He is not violent, and would never hurt a fly; he just wants a safe place to express his racist feelings.

Is he culpable for the Klan's past acts of violence? I believe that even though he is not criminally responsible for acts that occurred before he joined, he is morally culpable for joining the Klan. The Klan has blood on its hands, and anyone who joins must share the guilt. So, too, with the homosexual movement.

The Hidden Agenda of the Gay Republicans

...A California-based Christian activist who spent 30 years in the homosexual lifestyle says Christians need to be aware of an organization known as the Republican Unity Coalition, which he believes has stayed under the "Christian radar." According to its own website, the Coalition -- "a gay-straight alliance of Republican leaders, working to encourage tolerance and to address concerns of gay and lesbian Americans" -- came about as an outgrowth of the George W. Bush campaign in 2000. Christian activist James Hartline says the RUC has one goal: "to make homosexuality a non-issue within the Republican Party." He contends the group will "turn the party into pacifists when it comes to dealing with the gay agenda." And Hartline says the RUC has some pretty heavy hitters, including a former Republican senator and president. He points out that retired Senator Alan Simpson is the group's honorary chairman, and that the RUC Advisory Board includes former President Gerald Ford as well as Jim Kolbe, a homosexual congressman from Arizona. "These are liberal Republicans who are not strong advocates of Christian conservatism," the former homosexual states. Hartline says the RUC is fully committed to opposing a Constitutional amendment defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

I for one couldn't stand it when democrats finally figured out that a great many people in this country are Christians. So, they decide to jump on the "Christian band-wagon" in hopes to garner a few votes~~without realizing that Christians expect you to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. This was just a SNEAKY attempt! We 'ain't' stupid, and we 'ain't' "mentally unstable" thank you very much.

This,RUC, is just another sneaky attempt to pass an agenda that is NOT supported by the MAJORITY of people in this country.

Once people realize that the gay activists are NOT just trying to get health benefits or death benefits for their long-term partners (that in fact, these people in a "stable" , same-sex, monogamous relationship are a minority in this movement) that in reality, this is a new sexual revolution whose primary aim is YOUR CHILDREN.

Many companies and the health industry have already recognized the same-sex relationships and honor those requests. Regulation for this is not needed. Walgreens now SUPPORTS the "gay" GAMES

Walgreens says they agreed to sponsor the Gay Games under the guise of helping prevent AIDS.

But the official Gay Games web site has the following promotional statement, which promotes the very type of activity Walgreens says they are trying to prevent.

"The Gay Games Social Committee is currently in the process of gathering together Chicago's best bars and clubs, and some of the biggest and best party promoters in the country to create a Social Schedule unlike anything you've ever seen. Chicago's LGBT scene is fierce no matter what time of year it is, but during that one week in July 2006, we are committed to making sure you have the time of your life."

The gift ($100,000), made to placate homosexual activists, puts Walgreens in the very top Premium Category of sponsorship.

To make their sponsorship appear to be a good thing publicly, they say they are providing AIDS education. (Spin Control, that's ALL it is~~in hopes that conservative Americans won't have a CLUE....well, fella's we HAVE A CLUE!!!)

If any group should be aware of the dangers of AIDS and how to prevent it, it should be homosexual activists. Billions of tax dollars have been spent to educate the public about AIDS. (NO MORE...You choose to live a risky lifestyle, then you LIVE with the consequences...)

We have acquired photos taken at the last Gay Games that clearly show what kind of activity occurs during these games. (And what these companies are supporting....Do we really want to continue to SUPPORT THESE COMPANIES?)

Churches under attack from radical homosexual activists

Homosexual Issue Plagues Denominations

(AgapePress) - The issue of homosexuality continues to put pressure on mainline Protestant denominations. Here is a brief recounting of what has happened among some of those churches over recent months:

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)

Delegates to ELCA's 2005 national convention in August angered homosexual activists in the 4.9-million-member denomination when they rejected a proposal to allow the church, under certain circumstances, to ordain homosexuals in long-term, committed relationships.

The convention upset conservatives, however, by refusing to vote for a resolution that would remove the ambiguity from the denomination's regulations regarding whether or not a minister could bless same-sex unions.

{They have done 1/2 the job......those who stopped short of doing what is right need to re-read the message to the church in Thyatira. Revelation 2:18-29}

Episcopal Church in USA (ECUSA)

The fallout from ECUSA's 2003 consecration of openly homosexual Rev. Gene Robinson as bishop of New Hampshire continues to roil the denomination, home to 2.5 million of the worldwide Anglican Communion's 77 million members.

Six Episcopal congregations in Florida have asked Rowan Williams, archbishop of Canterbury and figurehead leader for worldwide Anglicans, to allow them to report to a new bishop. The row was caused, the congregations said, because their current bishop, John Howard, approved of Robinson's consecration. The parishes, with about 4,000 members, said Howard's stand caused a "serious theological dispute."

In Connecticut, 19 Episcopal lay leaders and clergy in Connecticut have formally charged their bishop, Andrew Smith, under provisions of canon law, according to the American Anglican Council (AAC). The AAC is trying to help conservative Episcopal denominations bring themselves under theologically orthodox bishops.

Smith is charged with breaking church laws when he took actions against six conservative priests in the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, after they objected to Smith's stand in favor of Robinson's ordination. {Guess conservatives are not guaranteed the constitutional right of free speech....at least as far as Andrew Smith is concerned.}

Smith entered St. John's Episcopal Church in Bristol and announced his suspension of Rector Mark Hansen, one of the six, and installed a pro-homosexual female priest in Hansen's place. Then Smith allegedly dismantled the church's website, hacked into its computers, and gained access to financial records.

{ECUSA and most assuredly Bishop Smith and his supporters need to re-read the letters to the church in Pergamum, Thyatira, AND Sardis. Pergamum, where believers were pressured to compromise their faith; Thyatira which tolerated the prophetess Jezebel and her encouragement of sexual sin; and Sardis, the DEAD church that had NOTHING to commend it. Revelation 2:14-16, 18-29; 3:1-6}

United Methodist Church (UMC)

Rev. Edward Johnson, pastor of South Hill United Methodist Church in Virginia, was placed on a year-long leave of absence by his UMC district superintendent. His ecclesiastical crime? He refused to allow a non-repentant homosexual into church membership.

{Rev. Johnson is absolutely 100% correct: 1 Corinthians 5:12 " It isn't my responsibility to judge others, but it certainly is your job to judge those inside the church who are sinning in these ways. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, 'You must remove the evil person from among you.'"

Johnson's district superintendent, the Rev. William Layman, had twice ordered Johnson to accept the homosexual man into membership. Layman acted with approval from the head of the Virginia Annual Conference, Bishop Charlene Kammerer.

When the pastor refused, he was removed from his position without salary. Johnson, who has been in the pastorate for 24 years, had pastored at South Hill for six years.

Meanwhile, the Rev. Irene Stroud, who had lost her credentials last December following an ecclesiastical trial over her admission that she was in a committed lesbian relationship, will have a new day in court. In April, a UMC appellate court reinstated her ministry credentials after overturning her conviction on an 8-1 vote.

That case will top the docket of the UMC's supreme court, according to United Methodist News Service.

{The Methodist Church is in serious jeopardy. Their leaders need to re-read the letter to the church of Sardis. Revelation 3:1-6 Sardis was a DEAD church. There was NOTHING to commend her.}

Presbyterian Church (USA)

A special PCUSA panel recommended that next year's General Assembly not change a 1997 church law that limits clergy and lay officeholders to sex within marriage.
{This is good~~but we will have to see if they are able to stand firm....}

The battle over the issue has grown heated in the PCUSA. Homosexual activists continue to submit bills to repeal the rules. Meanwhile, conservatives have been frustrated that congregations continue to defy current church law and that the denomination allows ceremonies to bless same-sex couples.

An example of such open defiance occurred in the Pittsburgh Presbytery, where a female minister, Dr. Janet Edwards, performed a "marriage" ceremony for two lesbians. The ceremony integrated the couple's Buddhist and Christian traditions.
{Not only allowed and performed a homosexual wedding, but allowed a pagan religion to "unite" with christianity. This is blasphemy! 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 "Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can goodness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there be between God's temple and idols?..."}

{The leaders and Dr. Edwards and her followers need to re-read the letter to the church of Thyatira as well as Sardis. Revelation 2:18-29; 3:1-6}

The Good News is that it is NOT too late to take corrective measures! If the above churches do not want their lampstands removed, then they will need to correct the blatant sins that are being flaunted within their congregations. If the elders, pastors, preachers, bishops ~~all the leaders refuse to listen, then the congregants have the right, the duty to separate themselves from those who refuse to be corrected.

It is NOT too late~~not until the trumpets horn blows and Jesus returns. Then, it will be too late. Those who allowed perversions, adolatry, EVIL will be dealt with by Jesus Christ Himself. He will tell them He NEVER KNEW THEM AND CONDEMN THEM TO HELL. Whether they believe this or not.

Brothers and sisters in these congregations, now is the time to be loudly heard. Now is the time to fight the good fight. So when Jesus comes He will reward you, His good and faithful servants.

The ACLU exposed: that is the subject of this evening's "Talking Points Memo".

Last night, we reported that the Supreme Court of Oregon had ruled 5 to 1 that live sex shows are permitted in that state under the freedom of expression banner. The ACLU and The Oregonian newspaper both filed briefs in favor of that ruling. But why would the ACLU do that? What's in it for them?

The Supreme Court has consistently ruled that states and local communities have the right to limit expression. This is the U.S. Supreme court, in a time, place, and manner, application of standards. That is, you can't have sex on your front lawn, even if it's a personal expression on private property.

The Supreme Court realizes the Constitution requires boundaries for what Americans do. If you don't have boundaries, you have chaos. Thus, community standards and public safety trump personal expression. {Freedom of speech is the same~~EVERYONE is guaranteed freedom of speech; but this does NOT give you the right to be hateful, bigoted, or intolerant. This just leads to chaos.}

But the ACLU doesn't believe that. The organization has moved so far left, that now anything goes.

• Item: The ACLU is defending the North American Man Boy Love Association, saying that although the organization champions the criminal rape of children, it has a right to do that under free expression. {Legalized PEDOPHILIA America!}

• Item: The ACLU endorses virtual child pornography and has defended the right of people to obtain real child porn. {Leads to and condones pedophilia}

• Item: the ACLU opposed the Minutemen protests at the border, obviously, a legitimate form of expression.

So it seems the ACLU cherry picks its cases. The Minutemen certainly have a right to protest the porous border situation, but the ACLU opposes that expression. — Off the chart hypocritical.

So let's apply the no spin concept to this. The ACLU simply wants a different country, a nation where conduct it approves of, public sexual displays, child molestation literature is allowed. But the ACLU wants to inhibit conduct it disagrees with, like protesting the border and celebrating the birth of Jesus.

That's what's going on.

Now my next comments are directed at our liberal viewers. How can you support a group as nakedly, pardon the pun, radical as the ACLU? This isn't about freedom. This is about imposing a radical secular progressive agenda on a country that has traditionally voted on public policy issues.

If the live sex act initiative was put on the Oregon ballot, it'd be voted down big. Remember, Oregonians voted against gay marriage.

So once again, the ACLU is using an activist court to undermine what the folks want. This isn't democracy.

This is judicial fascism.

It's also a joke. The founding fathers didn't write the First Amendment with live sex shows in mind, OK? Everybody understand that?

You can easily pervert the Constitution by saying every kind of expression is protected, but again, that would lead to chaos and conflict.

"Talking Points" believes the 400,000 members of the ACLU should wake up and smell the totalitarianism.

This organization is bent on undermining freedom, not fighting for it. {Since when has the minority few dictated public policy to the majority many? Why are we NOT fighting them tooth and nail?}

And everybody should understand that. And that's "The Memo." the O'Reilly Factor

Here are some issues the ACLU supports:

•Legalization of homosexual marriage
•Legalization of child pornography
•Legalization of prostitution
•Legalization of live sex acts in public
•Legalization of sex between adults and children {told you~~pedophilia will be LEGAL}
•The ACLU defends the North American Man Boy Love Association whose motto is "sex before 8 or it is too late."
•Removing "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance
•Removing our motto "In God We Trust" from our money
•Forcing the Boy Scouts to accept homosexual scout leaders {read my previous blog on this}
•Removing prayer from school and public events {This would mean no more Friday night football game prayers!}
•Abortion on demand, without parental consent
•Legalizing illicit drugs
•Physician assisted suicide {Terry Schiavo won't be the last. This is just legalized euthanasia.}
•Partial-birth abortion
•Mandatory sex education {This sex-ed will show homosexuality as a NORMAL or even better alternative!}
•Legalized polygamy
•Tax supported profane art {Remember Robert Maplethorpe~~dead from AIDS~~and his feces smeared virgin Mary? Artists want to "create" this trash (that won't be remembered in a century~~fine~~but NOT with MY tax payer money.}

•Parental notification for minors having abortion
•School vouchers
•Filters on public library computers {Next, they will go after public libraries' policies that take away a patron's privilige of using the computers if they visit a pornographic site.}
•Student led prayer in schools
•Nativity scenes on public property
•Sex offender registries
•Broadcast decency laws
•"Choose Life" license plates
•Tax exemptions for churches
•Posting of the Ten Commandments of public property
•Prayers before high school football games {See? Told you!}
•Parental consent laws
• "Abstinence before marriage" sex education {No, the ACLU, along with North American Man Boy Love Association will demand that sex education teaches everyone needs to be sexually active by age 8 to be NORMAL!}

Homosexuals assaulting the Boy Scouts again

...An activist in the San Diego Christian community says sexual "deviants" plan to camp out in front of the Boy Scouts headquarters in an attempt to intimidate and demonize the organization. James Hartline is a former homosexual who has come out of the lifestyle through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Hartline says on October 9, a group known as "Scouting For All" will lead its sixth annual protest against the Scouts. Scouting For All, he says, will be displaying signs comparing the Boy Scouts to the Ku Klux Klan and accusing them of being discriminatory and hateful -- "merely because they will not allow these deviants within their leadership ranks where they can affect these boys," he explains. Hartline says instead of starting its own "dark version" of the Scouts, Scouting For All wants to infiltrate and dismantle the Boy Scouts of America. "They use [their] accusations of hate and discrimination as a wedge issue to get themselves in the front door so that they can go in and dismantle moral opposition and the Bible to their agenda," he says. According to Hartline, Scouting For All will be joined in its protest by groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU); the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN); and Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG.)

No wonder the gay activists want to infiltrate and then destroy the Boy Scouts of America. This scouting organization is the complete OPPOSITE of the gay community. Therefore, they must be DESTROYED to give the gay community legitimacy.

For as long as organizations such as the Boy Scouts exist, they reinforce this discrepancy between their God honoring, moral seeking character from the absolute decadence and often times evil corruption of the gay community.

The twelve points of the Scout Law are guidelines that can lead you toward wise choices. When you obey the Scout Law, other people will respect you for the way you live, and you will respect yourself. (well, except for liberals, gays, anti-Americans....but then who really wants or needs their respect~~it would mean so little.....)

There are many people who need you. Your cheerful smile and helping hand will ease the burden of many who need assistance. By helping out whenever possible, you are doing your part to make this a better world.

. . . To keep myself physically strong, . . .

Take care of your body so that it will serve you well for an entire lifetime. That means eating nutritious foods, getting enough sleep, and exercising regularly to build strength and endurance. it also means avoiding harmful drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and anything else that can harm your health. (like the gay lifestyle~~it is a risky lifestyle and ALWAYS has been.)

. . . mentally awake, . . .

Develop your mind both in the classroom and outside of school. Be curious about everything around you, and work hard to make the most of your abilities. With an inquiring attitude and the willingness to ask questions, you can learn much about the exciting world around you and your role in it.

. . . and morally straight.

To be a person of strong character, your relationships with others should be honest and open. You should respect and defend the rights of all people. Be clean in your speech and actions, and remain faithful in your religious beliefs. The values you practice as a Scout will help you shape a life of virtue and self-reliance. (This is something gays nor lesbians can identify with~~virtue. Their very culture thrives on promiscuity. Nor would they understand the concepts of repecting the rights of all people and the willingness to defend those rights. Nope, they only want THEIR RIGHTS. Self-centered, selfish, ego gratifying, hateful to others not like them; bashing those groups~~this is HATE SPEECH. And it's time to hold THEM accountable for it as well!)

Note that the Boy Scout Oath has traditionally been considered to have three promises. Those three promises are delineated by the semicolons in the Oath, which divide it into three clauses. The three promises of the Scout Oath are, therefore:

Duty to God and country,
Duty to other people, and
Duty to self

DUTY TO GOD AND COUNTRY:

Your FAMILY and religious leaders teach you to know and serve God. By following these teachings, you do your duty to God. Men and women of the past worked to make America great, and many gave their lives for their country. By being a good family member and a good citizen, by working for your country's good and obeying its laws, you do your duty to your country. Obeying the Scout Law means living by its 12 points.

DUTY TO OTHER PEOPLE:

Many people need help. A cheery smile and a helping hand make life easier for others. By doing a Good Turn daily and helping when you're needed, you prove yourself a Scout and do your part to make this a better world.

DUTY TO SELF:

Keeping yourself physically strong means taking care of your body. Eat the right foods and build your strength. Staying mentally awake means learn all you can, be curious, and ask questions. Being morally straight means to live your life with honesty, to be clean in your speech and actions, and to be a person of strong character.
